Feedback needed for Challenge

Hello everyone,

I’d really appreciate some expert advice and feedback on my stats — mainly to stay motivated in my challenge and to identify potential leaks, not necessarily in my gameplay, but in my overall performance and approach.

IÂ’ve decided to start a challenge to make $100,000 profit within a year (or so), playing only MTTs.
I began this challenge at the start of October with a $5,000 bankroll. My main goal for this first month was to put in a lot of volume since I had both the time and motivation.
I currently don’t have any other job — my full focus is on sports betting and poker for a living.

IÂ’m playing on GG Poker, starting with low-stakes MTTs and planning to move up as my bankroll grows.

Over the month, I played 1,212 MTTs across 25 sessions, taking 4 rest days (one per week).
This represents quite a large daily volume, but my schedule is well-structured — I wake up early, go to the gym, and start my poker sessions around 11:00 AM, usually playing until late at night.
IÂ’m not worried about the long hours since I typically take full months off during the year for travel and downtime.

📊 My current stats:
• Volume: 1,212 MTTs (25 sessions)
• ITM: 195 (≈16%)
• Average Buy-in: $15.51
• Total Profit: +$7,499

If my PokerCraft numbers are correct, then:
1,212 × $15.51 = $18,798 total invested,
which means around 40% ROI (profit ÷ total invested).

🧠 Current observations:

IÂ’m still trying to fully understand where my edge lies and which tournament structures suit me best.
I’ve noticed that turbos and hypers aren’t really my style — I perform much better in Hunters and Zodiac events, which also tend to have softer fields.
So from now on, IÂ’ll likely avoid hyper and turbo formats and focus more on these slower structures.

IÂ’d rate my current skill level as intermediate.
I study about 1 hour per day using the Raise Your Edge Masterclass.
Even though I donÂ’t yet consider myself a professional or full-time regular, IÂ’m fully committed to this challenge and want to make the most out of it.

❓ My questions:
• What should I do to achieve a higher ROI?
• Should I lower my daily volume to improve focus and reduce mechanical play?
• Should I aim for a higher ITM%, or is 16% solid for my approach?
• And overall — is my ROI good for this volume and level?

Any thoughts, advice, or questions are more than welcome.
Thanks in advance for your time and feedback!

good stuff , hope to see more post n follow along ,

just some food for thought - GG is rough, b/c of structers - sure soft af but overall compared to other clients not the best ( obvs some ppl only have so much choice for clients avail )

but looking good so far

as for " reg " speed on GG compared to turbos n hypers

generally good rule of thumb ex) say have 400BIs for reg speed , best to have 600 BIs for turbos 800BIs for hypers ( not specific but helps fight the variance of those structures / BRM

achieve higher ROI, - ( which is good already ) = softer sites , smaller fields ,
ITM% is fine 15-20% going to vary alot on AFS thou / edge / volume

volume - this is tricky - i know some guys who crush midstakes, - play 6 tables, only n never have loosing months ( mostly cause sites the play = small n super soft )

other guys stack n tile 20 tables n never have loosing months for same reasons

and alot in the middle,

some go months w/o profit , even loosing years , but overall make money , ( obvs larger AFS )

some " off peak " schedule n crush , some opp.

so its alot of variables, obvs

n yeah PKOs are the best on any client - for many reasons

either way look forward to following along
