Chasing the Sun: My Journey from Microstakes to Midstakes

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share my current poker journey and maybe get some advice along the way. I started playing microstakes a couple of years ago, mostly for fun, but over time it became a real passion. The swings are brutal, and I’ve learned more about patience, tilt control, and bankroll management than I ever expected.

Lately, I’ve been moving up to midstakes MTTs and cash games, and it’s a whole different beast. I’m keeping a strict journal now—logging every session, every hand that felt significant, and even my mindset during the games. It’s amazing how much difference self-reflection can make.
