The Last (Broke) Dance
Hello guys!
I'm 45y/o recreational player who will try to make something out of this lovely game called poker. For the last time. This will be my first and last blog here on 2+2 and if I fail this will be the end of my poker career. I've been playing since 2010, started at FTP grinding FR tables. Then switch to PS mixing ZOOM and regular tables, played a lot of different platforms and currently I'm playing at Coinpoker. Generally, I can say that I did earn some money because I deposited few hunderd $ and cashout few k$, but overall I was, and I still am, at most BE player. So, I'm currently playing NL5 tables, I'll post graphs, hands, notes on weekly basis and track my progress.
Besides poker, I'll track some other life and bussines achievements so I can say that I'll try to pursue 3 main goals.
(I)
First of all would be to stay healthy meaning trying to eat, sleep and work healthy. This also mean to lose some weight, ideal weight would be 85 kg, ATM I have 97 kg. I'm going to gym and pool 2-3 times a week but need to be determined when it comes to eating healthy. I'll try to reduce BMI, body fat and increase muscles especially legs because I had three knee surgeries.
(II)
Second will be my poker goal which means to get as higher as I can get. Main goal would be to have a bankroll to buy a whole BTC. So, it could be a 100k$ or 70k$ or even 20k$, it depends how fast will I learn and grow as a player. Also, it depends on BTC price but I hope I'll get at least to NL200-NL500 and achieve this goal. I'll try everything what ever it takes (coaching etc), as I said this is my last try in poker.
(III)
Finally, third goal is to finish my PhD school and (or) make some progress and change in my career. Since I enrolled two years ago I wrote just I article and attend one conference so I need to speed a little bit in this field. This is the most far fetched but we shall see how it will ends.
This is it for now, stay tuned and wish me luck.

Hello guys!
Here is a recap after one week which was kind a successful week.
(I)
It was all good until weekend. I hit gym 3 times, eat a lot of proteins and then on weekend we had guests. Wife made a bunch of food, sweets, cake, went to a football match, drank few beers so let's say I'm BE. This week is also very stressfull, a lot of birthdays so I hope that I'll stay BE after this week and weekend.

Poker was very successful. I'm happy with the volume but also with the results because I made around 10 BI's prerakeback. I manage to play 10-12 tables, there were a ton of mistakes but I'm happy how I handle when things didn't go in right direction. Obviously, I hit an upswing and we shall see how it will continue.

Major failure, I didn't do anything. I have an assigment and I need to delivere as soon as possible. I'll try to make some mini goals for each day which I had to accomplish. I hope it will work.
That's all for now, stay tuned and good luck at tables.

Hello guys!
Here's a summary of last 3 weeks where I didn't be active as much as I wanted to be. I was sick for two weeks and I wasn't in mood to play or even exercise in this condition.
(I)
Nothing to say, I didn't train almost 3 weeks but the worst part was that my eating routine got out of tracks. I didn't control myself (due to illness, I comfort myself) and end it up eating to much sugar (sweets, chocolate). So, first step is to get back to healthier eating schedule and routine and try to get at least 2 times at gym and go for a walk once.
(II)
I got unwanted break and didn't play whole two weeks so in between I manage to play around 15k hands. This came mainly from last week sessions when I returned to play. So, result is not so good, I was BE until last session when I lost almost 4 BI's. I play comfortly 10-12 tables but I need play better so I'll try to study more. I'll begin with some specific spots, take baby steps and try to get every spot +EV.

That's all for now, stay tuned and good luck at tables.

Hi, playing 10-12 tables is a lot. May I suggest if you're finding yourself around BE knock down to 6 or so. A reduction could really prove beneficial and can always start adding back as WR improves.
