Hey poker world! How’s it going?

Looks like my time has finally come to start a blog. Wanted to try this format for a while and see if it’s something for me.

Excited to share the journey of an online grinder — wins, losses, comebacks, failures, experiments, and all the fun parts in between. Also looking forward to meeting more people in the space.

My name is Roman. I’ve been playing poker since I was 18(already 31 years old), and honestly, poker has given me incredible opportunities. I’m really grateful for it.

Over the years I’ve traveled to many countries, met amazing people, and experienced adventures I never could’ve imagined before poker.

The peak of my career was probably around 2020, when things escalated very quickly from z200 to battling in z500 and NL1k–10k games. Those were crazy times. I got the chance to play against some of the best players in the world in extremely tough environments.

At that stage I wasn’t able to fully hold my place in the high stakes world long-term. But after a couple of years away from that grind, I came back with a much more sustainable and balanced approach to poker.

Since then I’ve mostly been playing NL200–2k, occasionally dropping to NL100 when higher games are dead. I also made a conscious decision to stop chasing NL5k+ games because the ecosystem and game availability no longer feel worth it for me.

Honestly, this approach has made me both happier and healthier.

Currently I’m playing across a lot of different sites and recently started exploring the app ecosystem more seriously. Also been enjoying different Hold’em formats lately — 7-deuce games, bomb pots, and other action formats. It genuinely feels like it gives poker new life again.

Some people might recognize me from CoinPoker under the screen name “BossBaiden,” where I played most of my volume last year. This year also added ggpoker with screenname "TopG-AndrewT"
