Hello from a 35 yo guy from Greece who hears in the name of Chris.. 😀
This is my very first blog.. 😀
Have grown up in Belgium then moved to Greece in 1999 in order to study Business Administration..
At this moment I have a full time job + another part time job.. I don't complain about my earnings as it is more than enough for Greece.. specifically taking into consideration the situation here the last couple of years..
I have a lovely gf since more than 6 months.. who's actually moved to my place.. 😀
I try to avoid junk food and work out twice a week and also play soccer.. I am also part of a theatre team.. where actually we are rehearsing in order to perform the coming summer.. Had also performed twice the last two years.. 😀
I have been introduced into the world poker by a friend many years ago.. specifically in Titan poker.. I have started gambling in tourneys without any serious success.. Then decided to switch in cash games a couple of years ago.. Have started reading some books.. got some coaching.. And here I am today..
I had around 17 euros left in my br in PS and wanted to give a shot to 2NL even though the br isnt enough.. I began my shot in October 18th 2015.. Took a shot in 5NL in late November 2015 which didn’t go well.. mostly have also played badly.. Then due to a bonus reward, had been able to have more than 30 BI for 5NL.. Below you will find my results so far..

I guess that it is due to a mix of variance and bad play..
My short-term plans for the future
- Work on combo's with Flopzilla --> by the end of the quarter
- Begin Meditation --> 2016
That's it for now
Will be back with an update
Cheers
Chris

Hey there,
Hope this post finds you well!
It has almost been a decade since I haven't posted anything! 😀
Many things have changed since then fortunately. I got married on 2018, became a father in 2019! 😀
I now have a pleasant job where I have more spare time, so I decided to give a shot to poker once again. Playing mostly cash games, so I started playing zoom 2NL on PS. My plan would be to move up as my BR will permit it. But first things first. Below you will find some stats so far. Hope you will enjoy my journey and keep you posted about my progress. Take care you all and good luck at the tables!

good luck don't give up!
what is your day to day job?
Thank you sir! Consistency and patience should be the road to success.. what is your opinion on the following hands?
I work in an IT Services & Consulting company. what about you? are you playing poker?
Welcome back!
hey there!
hope you are doing well!
have spent a nice weekend in the mountains with friends and family. pokerwise, this is the picture at the end of the month. I would have expected something better but this is the reality. trying to spot my mistakes and get better. I think I notice that people tend to 3bet more their middle pairs. wasn't the case some years before. is this really the case? hopefully, I would be able to give some shots to 5 nl until the end of the month. anyway, wish you the all the best and good luck at the tables!

crazy bump after so long, thought my recent thread bump was a long one. props
2NL is so hard to analyze. if you have a career and a safety net, you should just start playing bigger, like 25nl, but I will try
hand 1: 3 bet smaller, turn bet smaller, river I do not see V having any bluffs, can prob fold 90% or more
hand 2: betting turn seems good . river is just a fold, you improve but simply have better hands to call

thanks for the feedback! just curious about building up a stack and move up to the stakes accordingly. have achieved it -at some point at least- in the past. wondering whether I can still make it 😀
