Poker factor meets time dilation

Poker factor meets time dilation

I'm quite strongly convinced that my OMEGATRON game is time dilation resistant (difficulty level remains the same). What's your opinion ?

>> All the rules (3 games plus explanation) are illustrated below.

Time dilation - the difference in elapsed time as measured by two clocks, either because of a relative velocity between them (special relativity), or a difference in gravitational potential between their locations (general relativity). When unspecified, "time dilation" usually refers to the effect due to velocity.

After compensating for varying signal delays resulting from the changing distance between an observer and a moving clock (i.e. Doppler effect), the observer will measure the moving clock as ticking more slowly than a clock at rest in the observer's own reference frame. There is a difference between observed and measured relativistic time dilation - the observer does not visually perceive time dilation in the same way that they measure it. In addition, a clock that is close to a massive body (and which therefore is at lower gravitational potential) will record less elapsed time than a clock situated farther from the same massive body (and which is at a higher gravitational potential).

TDP scheme update:

I'm totally G-shocked by this game.

Geometrics solid 8/10. I am struggling to figure out why some cells are highlighted between each of the type of games.

Developers personal hand choices perhaps? First hand 3h3d7s8hQc? The example would be more clear if the highest ranked combo was shown, AAAAK. And then so on and so forth. But if you’re trying to share some cryptic secret message… you should just tell us here instead, lol.

What is the best possible combination of hands and does it switch from game to game?

Yes. This is exactly the hand. Just some random and fully completed hand examples for each game.

The example would be more clear if the highest ranked combo was shown, AAAAK. And then so on and so forth.

What is the best possible combination of hands and does it switch from game to game?

Classic hand rankings, as usual:

1. Royal Flush (best)
2. Straight Flush
3. Four of a Kind
4. Full House
5. Flush
6. Straight
7. Three of a Kind
8. Two Pair
9. Pair
10. High Card

So the best possible combination of hands for each game is:
Alphatron - Royal Flush
Betatron - Royal Flush
Omegatron - Royal Flush

Just as the graphic #3 says, everything (difficulty level) is connected with classic hand rankings math probability. In addition, with card values also. But this doesn't mean that AAAAK is the best hand. What it means instead, is that it's easier to collect 33337 than 44447 for example. It's this thing that classic poker doesn't have, yet normal poker does recognize card values as the hand's strength, also. But as you know, the probability of getting QQ55K is exactly the same as getting 8822A in classic poker, like NLHE.

So, it's this little advantage that my game(s) has over classic poker.

Geometrics solid 8/10.

Thank you.

My cryptic secret message would be that Omegatron is a big game. Even if you decide to never play it. It's directly pointed at Albert Einstein's theory and it successfully reaches the target. It doesn't deny or change Einstein's theory, but it does reach the target. The red and green hexagonal scheme explains it all (post #2).

There's really a lot to analyze, visualize, learn and think about, but it all fits together like a one big puzzle game.

And the game looks like the very origin of poker. It should come first - before Texas Hold'em was invented, not the opposite 😃

I must sound really narcissistic, but I'm really deep into the analysis of my game and it all just blows me far away into space 😀

I felt like i was playing this the other night trying to match the Russian lang football mp4 (alpha?) i downloaded with its counterpart online English commentary (beta!). A little bit here, a little bit there. Goddammit, missed by 1/2 a ms! Ruined. Start, again.

Ceres, learn the cards, start your stopwatch and play one of my games.

Don't wait for the "Omegatron" documentary movie like others do - it will take ages to make it 😀

Unless they make it in space...

IMO the Wizard Of Oz Dark Side Of The Moon thing is wildly overrated.

OP, similar to Col Sanders and his pressure cooker, you could travel the country with a box of watches until you find that one visionary poker room manager who gets it. Graphics 10/10 BTW.

I think all 3 games would perfectly work in post-apocalyptic conditions. Imagine that everything is ruined, barely anybody alive, your phone is dead and you are one of those lucky survivors who's wearing a watch and an emergency backpack. All alone, but you still can play poker.

And the 2nd game "Betatron" can be even played in complete darkness. All you'll need is the LIGHT function in your watch.

Unless they make it in space...

Wait - this is totally wrong

If they made the documentary in space then it would take excruciatingly DECADES to film (from our Earth pov) and by then OP could be well onto a new thread. It is TRUE that if they made it in space and then streamed it back down to Earth (slightly faster than the speed of light) it would be experienced at something approaching 10x speed and save much time for the Omegatron documentary audience, who could subsequently consume exponentially more Omegatron documentaries per lifespan.

OK. Glad that's cleared up. off to buy a Rolex so that when nucleargeddon strikes I can still play mind poker.

The only people who can make the Omegatron documentary are: me, myself and I.

I think some readers might underestimate the Betatron phase (collecting cards in your thoughts without looking and pressing buttons), but this works the same way as if you were told to walk precisely 1 mile in a straight line on a desert and given five checkpoint markers to make it easier.

You could then use a marker each time you have a feeling you reached some certain distance (like 200 or 250 yards) and it would be much easier than stopping at 1 mile without using markers.

Counting seconds one by one won't work because it's not precise enough and also you would soon get tired.
