FLIPS
Most are aware that AK vs JJ is a flip and it’s not always avoidable.
But what many don’t understand:
Heads up AK is a solid favorite, but it becomes a flip against more than one player. You don’t want to call along and end up multiway, suited or not. The odds will not be in your favor.
Maths are important!
Against a raise & a re-raise, you should often fold this hand. It’s not the powerhouse you think it is. Now, you’re likely facing more than one player with strong ranges.
Sure, we love AK - raise, one caller Kxx = value town. We want to isolate, but when it doesn’t work out, make the downgrade-don’t throw the tournament away with pretty AhKh
