Why does GTO wizards preflop strategy for this spot differ so dramatically to this HRC solve? They are both ChipEV 100bb symmetric stack size spots for early stage MTTs.

The ante size for the spot solved in HRC is larger at 20% of the BB for each of the 9 players, which I would assume would suggest that you should open wider, but in fact it seems to be the opposite.

The only thing I can think of is that GTO wizards range would be solved at a higher accuracy, (solved to 5% in HRC) but would that lead to a completely different strategy, opening 1.5x as frequently?

Well, you should probably include the settings you used for HRC. Take a picture of that. It also does appear to tight regardless though, how long did you run it? What did you run the CI to?

This kinda worries me if solvers are coming up with different strategies for the same spot.

Who you gonna trust?

I'm pretty sure GTOW uses HRC for their preflop solves?

That's correct, GTO Wizard uses HRC to run their preflop solutions. So the only explanation is that you used different parameters.

It appears someone named one of the solutions "BB calls too wide". Perhaps UTG is opening tighter in your sim because you forced BB to defend wide?

there is 0% chance the rfi is 9% obv you didnt use the correct settings
