Will PokerStars return money from my account to my grandson, if i die?
Actually, I do not have a grandson, I do not even have a son. But that question comes to my mind quite often for last 2 months.
The reason for that is the fact, that they "temporarily restricted" my account for "no more than 72 hours" for "routime security investigation". The funny thing is that I really liked their site. I was trusting them, sharing great experience with them to everybody I know, I even spent few years for becoming good at poker format, that only PokerStars have (Progressive Total KO zoom HUMTT). Actually, dozens of good players in that tournaments are playing them only because I was describing that cool format in my blog at gipsyteam.ru.
And now I am just blocked. No reason, no "send us a dozen of documents for proving that you are not an alien". Just relax and wait for our investigation to be complete (2 months already).
So I started to look forums, getting some info. In the end I made a request to IBAS for resolving that issue, but IBAS responded that they can not do anything until PokerStars finish their own investigation.
And after that I asked IBAS manager (who was very polite and quick in his responses) a very complicated question (complicated in terms of hardcore English use for non native speaker) "Can you tell me if there exists a maximum time frame for which they can freeze my money without any explanation to me?". Actually I am still not sure if I have not made any mistake in that long question. But anyway his response probably means that he understood me:
"Dear Mr Nimylovych,
There is no maximum time frame."
So now I do not have access to game (I won $95K in last 42 months in HUMTT, that exist only at PokerStars), I can not get $3.5K from my account, I am also blocked on PokerStars.es. And they can hold my money forever because of always being "still investigating". And of course I will not be able to play HUMTT for that time, but ... who cares?
So for that $3.5K I can somehow be pretending after they finish their "investigation" and that is why that question from the starting topic comes to my mind. I know one guy that has same problem with restriction, but for a 1 year already without any reason (although they asked him for a lot of documents and he send all of it). And if 1 year is possible, than 5 are also possible, and same with 25, 50, 100... So let`s say in 100 year I will be dead for sure (I am 26 right now) and my grandson will be around 60-70 +-. And they finally finish their investigation and decide that those money belong to me. Will my grandson get that $3.5k? What will be the inflation rate for that time? I mean, will $3.5K be enough to have a dinner in 2122? I hope so))
