Prize Drop Challenge not visible
Hi guys, first post.
I've been playing on stars for years and mourn the loss of monthly challenges, weekly challenges, leaderboards etc. I play 50NL - 100NL full ring, UK.
I've been told by a friend that he gets daily prize drop bonuses, so I've looked it up. Sure enough it's a thing:
https://www.pokerstars.uk/poker/promotio... on the number of hands you've played%2C you,to win a Prize Drop.&text=If you win a Prize Drop%2C you'll no longer,Drops across other stakes%2Fgames.
I don't see this challenge in my challenges window. Just the power path, the current pirate chest thing and a sports betting one.
The terms seem to to state quite clearly that it's open to all cash players, anyone else not receiving it and shed some light on why before I contact customer service?
Cheers.

Hmmm strange one. Did you see it when it ran about 6 weeks ago? I had it then but not now...
How did you find that page ? When I go poker > promotions it isn't there
Yeh your link works but navigating there manually it's nowhere to be seen. Weird one.
What chest level are you ? Alot of these promo's are only for Blue and Bronze alot of the time
Bronze level, I dropped down from silver to keep receiving the power path tickets for a minor loss of equity (24k points for $40 as opposed to only 20k at Silver) as I wouldn't always hit the points for the month. The wording clearly says it's open to everyone and I can't believe anyone regularly playing 50NL - 500NL would be any less than bronze/silver.
My buddy said he receives these all the time with some pretty good payouts, $20-$40, he plays 25NL-50NL 6 handed reg tables. He sent me this:
I'll contact them today and will post my findings.
The plot thickens.
I contacted the live chat and sent them the screen shots I had. Here is the transcript from my conversation with customer support:

I'm assuming it's just a mistake, I wouldn't like to think that some promotions are being offered to some players and not others, not after the recent "transparent" rewards revamp

Hi, my name is Varoujan. Your query was escalated to me for further assistance. Thanks for the details you provided, which I’m reading now. Please let me know if you have any other information that might help me. I’ll be back soon with an update!

Thank you for waiting.
We run lots of promotions and deposit bonuses. Players can also benefit from tailored offers suited to their personal gaming preferences.
In our promotions, we include as many players as possible; however, not all the players receive the same offers. In this specific case, you are not eligible to take part in this promotion.
Check out our ‘Promotions’ page regularly for more details about offers available to you.
I hope that I’ve answered your query. Is there anything else I can help you with?
Varoujan - 9:35 AM
The wording clearly states :
Players who play No Limit Hold’em or Pot Limit Omaha cash games with selected game stakes during the offer period, as specified below, can win random cash rewards. There are 4 reward levels available for each game stake, based on the number of hands played.
Are you able to tell me what I need to do to become eligible, as a long time, loyal player who has paid thousands of dollars in rake?
You - 9:39 AM
Only players who are eligible for the offer have received the link. If you browse through our website, https://www.pokerstars.uk/poker/promotio..., you can see that the offer isn't there.
Since a friend of yours shared this screenshot/link with you, the terms of the offer only apply to them.
Varoujan - 9:38 AM
Are you able to tell me the prerequisites to become eligible? It seems unfair that certain promotions are offered to some players and not others without making the requirements clear
Is it deposit amounts/frequency, volume of play, stake level etc?
You - 9:42 AM
There isn't a specific list of requirements that I can share with you at this time, I am sorry. I hope you'll be eligible to take part in future similar offers.
If you need anything else in the meantime, feel free to resume the conversation.
Varoujan - 9:41 AM
Ok, thank you for your honest response. To make you aware, I will be posting these findings on various poker forums as this doesn't look good and will be considering where I play in future. I thought the new rewards system was fair and transparent but this doesn't seem to be the case.
You - 9:44 AM
I'm truly sorry you feel that way. Please note that these types of offers have always existed, and you have undoubtedly been a part of them in the past, and you'll certainly be eligible for them again in the future.
Thanks for contacting PokerStars. A quick survey will follow as we value your feedback.
Have a great day and good luck at the tables.

So much for their new "transparent" rewards program!
They have been doing this for a while now unfortunately. On Discord they explained how they use "control groups" but no idea what criteria is involved.
Would think it is to incentivise those that dont play the format to come along, although I haven't played zoom for 6 weeks so perhaps not.....
Think this is the 1st promo i have been excluded from, sigh.
Ah well, another month with 0 volume on Stars !
