[PokerStars PA]
Starting this thread for all things PokerStars for PA only. I guess there isn't a rep yet to monitor an official 22 thread so figured I'll throw this out there
I am happy to see explicitly legal online poker again. Being able to deposit w PayPal and withdraw with zero issues is awesome. What sucks is that the site has, as expected, not much traffic, but I'll take what I can get...
The Rewards Store seems lame. There's basically nothing there. I have no idea what the effective rakeback is if u max out value on teh #StarzCoinz, but it's pretty obvious it's not much. I haven't paid attention to the rake either, but I'm guessing it's high. Just out here stackin fools and chasin bigger #CHESTS...
I'm shocked to see the interface is actually not as good as the PokerStars that left me cold and lonely on Black Friday. How in the flying karate **** is that possible? It's 2019...dafuq? Why can't the tables dock to the corners of my screen? I have OCD I can't take this ****! But I digress...
There are quite a few things missing, inconsistencies, and that don't make sense, but I figure this would be the thread to point them out and maybe PS will take notice. Maybe eventually we'll get a rep and an official thread. Anyway, I'll post later to point out stuff I notice, like, and don't like, but just wanted to start a thread for the 7 people on 22 from PA...
May your cards be live and pots be monsters. Or something. Is that guy still alive?

Not sure if this is the right place to post - finding it very hard to get through to support - but my RSA token has expired, so I have to use one-time passwords (OTP) to log in. So I need to remove the RSA authentication, but ironically, that requires the RSA code - the OTP won't work. The "help" function "transfers" me to support, but just leaves me waiting, seemingly indefinitely. How can I resolve this - it shouldn't be so hard!
How far PS has fallen!
Managed to setup SMS as OTP so I won't run out of passwords, but still would be nice to remove the RSA requests on log in; it's very fiddly, and unnecessary.
was looking through some hands today and noticed something, seems like rake was raised maybe as recently as today if I'm correct? for example at 1/2 HU is 1.25 vs .75 and 6 players from 3 to 3.5. percentage is 5.5% im not sure if that got bumped either
Yep. Looks like it's gone up substantially. Bet Rivers enters the market, claiming the lowest net rake, and PokerStars' response is to raise the rake? Brilliant.
Here's a snapshot of the website from May 2024. 5% was the highest percentage then. Now it's 5.5% except at NL1k+, where they raised the rake cap substantially, which is more important at those stakes.
PokerStars never struck me as a site run by people who actually understand online poker
