2 factor texts not arriving, can't access account, support unsupportive.

I've used the SMS 2 factor for years since my RSA token died, with no issues. I last logged in in April with this method and it worked with no issues. About a week ago, I tried to log in to my account and the SMS never arrives. This happens sometimes, and it usually arrives a little later or i try again and receive the text right away. On this occassion though, I have not received a text at all. I have tried over and over for the last week.
I contacted support a day or two later, no reply for days. Eventually they got back to me asking some security questions, then radio silence again. I am very frustrated as I feel this is a pretty quick and simple matter, but I'm over a week in to this issue now and cannot access my account.
I have logged in using restricted mode to confirm that my mobile number is still listed correctly, and it is.
One thing that strikes me as odd is that the SMS confirmation message on PS client says the SMS has been sent to my mobile number ending in "ted." Obviously "ted" is not part of my mobile number, but it is listed as correct in the client.
Does anybody have any experience with this issue? Did it get resolved? How long did it take? What was the overall experience like?
I feel this has taken far too long already, and I am getting concerned that a this rate I'll not be able to access my account or funds because support just never gets back to me.
