Account restricted/locked pending investigation

Hi all,

I’m posting to bring some visibility to a situation with my PokerStars account and to ask for insight from anyone who has gone through something similar.

I’ve had my account for several years. I started at the micros and gradually moved up in stakes over time as I improved my game, now playing and doing well at midstakes. Recently, my account was suspended pending a review by their integrity team. I was told this is part of their standard procedure while an investigation is conducted.

My funds (approximately $8,000 USD) are currently frozen.

I want to be clear that I’ve always played in good faith and with the intention of complying fully with PokerStars’ rules. I respect the importance of maintaining game integrity and have cooperated with their requests so far.

At this point, I haven’t been given a timeline for resolution.

I’m not posting to attack PokerStars — I understand they need to conduct thorough reviews. I’m mainly hoping for:
1. Insight from anyone who has gone through a similar review (how long did it take? how did it resolve?).
2. Advice on whether there are appropriate channels to escalate or follow up if the process becomes prolonged.

If there’s a PokerStars representative who monitors this thread, I would appreciate any guidance as well.
