Hey DramaB and welcome to 2+2!
Books are probably not the best way to learn the game these days.
I would start by studying articles and videos for beginners, for example, on the GTO Wizard site.
This will allow you to familiarize yourself with the main concepts and form a foundation for further growth.
For those new to poker, I recommend these books:
"Essential Poker Math" by Alton Hardin:
This guide dissects the fundamental math required to enhance your decision-making skills at the poker tables.
"The Mental Game of Poker" by Jared Tendler and Barry Carter:
Concentrating on the psychological dimensions of poker, this book aids in handling tilt, enhancing concentration, and cultivating a resilient mental approach to the game.
Good luck on your poker adventure, and I look forward to hearing more about your progress!
