"Short Track" Ferguson Challenge : 0 => 10.000€
16-01-25
Hi all!
Hope you had a wonderful first starting weeks of 2025.
I set myself the challenge to start with an empty account, and reach 10.000€, on the Winamax platform.
There, every day, you get 2 free Expresso freeroll tickets, where you can play a 3-max Expresso, with winnings varying between 0,02€ and max 100€ (don't know the odds of hitting the 100€, must be ridiculously low)
Apart from this, I'll play as many as freeroll tournaments as I can.
As soon as I have some BR, I'll play ONLY Short Track Poker, a cash game format (5-max) where you are limited to a 5BB buy in.
The lowest stakes have a 0,10€ buy in.
This is a high variance game, but I know I'll have plenty of fun while playing, a very important factor 😉
Ill add more info soon, but have a busy work day, so I just wanted to make the first post, on my first day of the challenge.
CURRENT BR : 0,05€
Hablamos pronto!

You’ll run into an issue that shorttrack is a raketrap below 1/2 limits (even 1/2 and 2/4 is debatable if worth playing)
Hi!
Yes, I know that, you make a very good point.
Nevertheless, I love the action and just want to see whether it would be possible to build a BR and move up on the stakes, starting from 0.
The first session I played Shortrack with the 0.80eu, I ran bad, so now building the roll again playing Freerolls.
In case I want to play tournaments or normal cash game , I will deposit and keep this Bankroll complete separated from the Challenge BR.
This means I will also not allow myself to ever use rakeback for the challenge.
Do you do any challenge yourself Artello?
Enjoy your Sunday 😉
I think unfortunately your challenge is not possible, even at 2/4 (20 eur buy in) all the profits are from rake, as maybe only best regs could be breakeven pre rakeback, and rake caps are same going like 4-5 stakes below that.
I've been testing these games myself for a while, playing everything from 2/4 to 15/30, been doing quite okay, but variance is insane, you probably need around 5000bb for a limit you're playing to be safe.
