ex-President Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
And you think food production would be lower/worse with lower government intervention?
There are ways to subsidize without big distortions in allocations and decision making (cheaper loans, tax exemptions, cheaper/free insurance and so on), do you think the dirigist approach has positive outcomes?
i think without those government subsidies the cost of our food would increase dramatically (as would stuff like gas because of ethanol etc) and a lot of the farms would cease operations as they would no longer be profitable and a lot of the corporate farms would sell the land and then buy up land abroad and import
I didn't ask for you to post personal details. I'm sure with all the redacted documents you've seen since Trump's first term, you should be able to figure it out.
You’re questioning if BrianJames is one of Trump’s marks? Really? Of COURSE he is. After all, Trump LOVES the uneducated.
MrJames undoubtedly has already ordered one of these…… https://gettrumpwatches.com/
I'm not questioning his blind devotion to Trump; I'm questioning whether he has the $200.

[/URL]
President-elect Donald Trump would have been convicted of illegally trying to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election - which he lost - if he had not successfully been re-elected in 2024, according to a Department of Justice report released to Congress.
"The admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial," the report by Special Counsel Jack Smith said.
Running to help the little man and take down the elites.

Pls read again, you can subsidize (for state security reasons) without interfering with production processes, with an hands off approach. Subsidies aren't heavy regulation.
Same as the state can give every family x thousands dollars per year to send their kids to school if you determine that all kids having school access is necessary for other reasons.
It doesn't follow that the teaching has to be done by public employees at all same as it doesn't follow from the need to subsidize agricultural production that the farmers, butchers and so on should be public employees.
So his billionaire buddies will get away without paying their fair share, and the costs will be past off to the the public with tariffs?
Oh cool. Trump is raising taxes on us. That will surely help lower costs.

i strongly disagree
subsidies are government oversight and control, it's just done with a carrot instead of a stick
