The "media" is not actually a monolith with one goal, but many individual actors. The mainstream media wants eyeballs.
When we first started interacting today I asked you how many companies own 90% of the media in the US. You said you have no idea. It's five. So how you can state that it is not a monolith when it is almost entirely controlled by multi-billion dollar companies I don't know.
You yourself have alleged that there is a right-wing media funded conspiracy. I'm saying that you are right.
When the right wing started an openly white supremacist propaganda campaign about the caravan to rile up the GOP base of racist old people, the mainstream media wanted in on those clicks and those viewers.
Think about what you are saying here. The mainstream media wasn't white-supremacist before, but now that Trump has come along they are down with it. I understand that what I'm saying but might be an ultimately tougher pill to swallow, but don't pretend like what you are alleging isn't (also) nuts.

My nephew went to a Rolling Stone concert a couple weeks ago. He confirmed Jagger wasn't showing his age at all, and gave a good, energetic performance. But he said Richards really looked his age, and was kind of just going through the motions listlessly.

Seems like another wild lie. According to Wikipedia, Tucker's dad was a "gonzo reporter," Alex Jones's dad was a dentist, and Andrew Tate's father was a pro chess player.

I dunno for sure. I'd say he's a Rent-a-mob, wheeled out for some specific purpose, to cause background noise allowing politicians to, as per the suggestion above, bring in restrictive laws that hit the population at large, not just street thugs. Racism serves a general purpose ofc, to attack, confuse, deflect etc. For intelligence services it would be pragmatic to have access to such 'street power'. Infiltration of right wing groups goes back to their inception, no doubt the majority are serious(ly deluded) about their beliefs, but Tommy R is not one of them. A more, perhaps naive, view is that Sir Keir is being sent a strong message to stay on point in his tenure. Or, his tendency for authoritarianism (shown at the last round of unrest when he was in charge of public prosecutions
) is being exploited by those 'dark forces' of the deep state.

Quick question. Different portions of the establishment are openly decrying Israel and Saudi influence over US politics. But Qatar, who spends more than either peddling influence, on top of directly funding terrorist groups like Hamas, you cant get anyone in the establishment to say anything negative about them. Even so called dissidents like Tucker. Just complete radio silence.
Wouldn't this indicate that IF there is someone exerting dark money influence over the US, it is much more likely to be Qatar than Israel or Saudi? Who is most likely pulling the stings? The guy you have US congresspeople publicly denouncing as influence peddlers, or the guy who they refuse to talk about at all?
Probably only like 60% of Americans have even heard of Qatar and most of them don't have much of a clue about it or what their politics are or if they do they aren't sure of the difference between them, UAE or the other gulf states. Saudi Arabia and Israel have historically gotten much more attention and so that continues in sort of a self reinforcing way.

Are you even aware of the level of influence peddling they do throughout the world? They literally bought a World Cup, where all the stadiums were built on literal slave labor with high casualty numbers, and the entire Western world just kind of shrugged. They are a major funder of Islamic extremism (much more than Iran) and it never comes up. As Mets brought up in another thread, they are responsible for something like 1/2 of foreign donations to US universities.
Tucker just did a long form podcast with Jeffrey Sachs (I listened to the first half) explaining the current situation in the Middle East. Sachs basically argues Netanyahu is some Sun Tzuesque boogymen controlling everything. The world Qatar never comes up. AOC regularly criticizes Netanyahu/AIPAC influence peddling; you couldn't get her to say the world Qatar.
From your POV are AOC and Tucker truth peddlers? Or is there possibly something there in who they are willing to talk about and who they aren't.
