In the current news climate we see that some figures and events tend to dominate the front-pages heavily. Still, there are important, interesting or just plain weird things happening out there and a group of people can find these better than one.
I thought I would test with a thread for linking general news articles about "other news" and discussion. Perhaps it goes into the abyss that is page 2 and beyond, but it is worth a try.
Some guidelines:
- Try to find the "clean link", so that links to the news site directly and not a social media site. Avoid "amp-links" (google).
- Write some cliff notes on what it is about, especially if it is a video.
- It's not an excuse to make outlandish claims via proxy or link extremist content.
- If it's an editorial or opinion piece, it is polite to mark it as such.
- Note the language if it is not in English.
- There is no demand that such things be posted here, if you think a piece merits its own thread, then make one.

given there are portions of the left which explicitly advocate for society to eat less meat and animal derivatives, usually these days under the excuse of "climate change", after they tried the "poor animals suffer in farms" strategy that people disregarded, why do you think it's a stretch to believe they would do anything to achieve their goals?
surely it's not obvious "bill gates" has anything to do with this, but that million of leftists want milk eggs and meat to be banned, or at the very least far more expensive, it's an explicit desire they have no shame in advocating for.
and given the extent of the utter lies they used to justify horrific policies for COVID , and everything else they care about, the only rational prior would be to believe they are planning to concoct a fake crisis to achieve their political aims all the times, that's what they prove it did already several times why should it be different with animal farming?

Unfortunately, it's not done because of the poor animals. According to project 2030 and the green new scam, they claim cow farts contribute to global warming and I'm not making this up.

There was a bird flu epidemic a few years ago
and they stocked a ton of vaccines (for humans) giving free money to producers for no reason back then as well. 7-8 billions iirc.
This idea that viral pandemics are to be fought with vaccines during the pandemic itself, for pathogens that change all the times for which there can't be any sterilizing vaccine, for which immunization is at best only temporary, is quite absurd.
Moreover it complicates talking about actual vaccines (things you take BEFORE the problem exists, to either remove the problem from society or at least protect yourself for the rest of your life), when people hear "vaccine" and they learn it "reduces the chances of severe outcomes" they think the same applies to the actual real vaccines and so on.

As expected, none of the statistics in that article support your claim. People not wanting to see the butchering process but wanting to eat the end product is hardly a new concept that supports your claim that people are out to ban milk and eggs.
