In other news
In the current news climate we see that some figures and events tend to dominate the front-pages heavily. Still, there are important, interesting or just plain weird things happening out there and a group of people can find these better than one.
I thought I would test with a thread for linking general news articles about "other news" and discussion. Perhaps it goes into the abyss that is page 2 and beyond, but it is worth a try.
Some guidelines:
- Try to find the "clean link", so that links to the news site directly and not a social media site. Avoid "amp-links" (google).
- Write some cliff notes on what it is about, especially if it is a video.
- It's not an excuse to make outlandish claims via proxy or link extremist content.
- If it's an editorial or opinion piece, it is polite to mark it as such.
- Note the language if it is not in English.
- There is no demand that such things be posted here, if you think a piece merits its own thread, then make one.
Playbig, am I really gonna have to contain you to a conspiracy thread…
They're not available to the public, these are high tech large military type drones.
The local PD's here are being stone walled by the gov't; which is why they're referring all the calls to the FBI. They're not getting any information from them about what's going on and what they're doing to determine where they're coming from and what their mission is. This isn't some kid flying a drone they bought off Amazon.
This is a news thread, and I'm posting this because I live in the areas and I've seen them with my own eyes but unfortunately it's not making the headlines it deserves. Our skies are filled with military style combat drones on a nightly basis terrifying people. This is a very big story but if you don't like the information I'm presenting, you can use the ignore feature instead of selectively discriminating against someone just because they're not liked on here. That's not what a moderator's job should be. You also let people call me a scumbag and other slander but you're now trying to ban me for posting a story people might be interested in. That's a true hypocrite.
However, here is some "Proof" for ya, bud:

It's some good media self censorship. People were losing their **** over a weather balloon, this would be the 2nd coming of war of the worlds broadcast.
I disagree with the conclusions he draws, but most of the news he shares is real.
The fringe conspiracy thread? I haven't read through it, and I'm guessing you're right that there's some fake news stuff there, but I doubt it's everything. I'd bet most (or a lot) of the reporting is accurate and that his inferences are where things goes off the rails. At least that's what I've seen in the last month or so. But like I said, I haven't gone through that thread, so don't hold me to that.
oh man, you're in for a treat, pour yourself a glass of wine and let it soak in
I'll check it out tomorrow. My view is that most people here aren't conspiracy-minded enough but that PB is too sure of himself and usually reaches the wrong conclusion. In most cases, when it comes to conspiracies, the best we can do is say, "Something doesn't add up" and then play guessing games.
.
Just because something's not out in the open or it goes against what someone was taught or not taught, doesn't mean it's automatically a "conspiracy theory" or the person presenting the information is lying/nuts.
Unless there's drone above it!
I've been reading posts from eye witnesses to our drone problem around my town (which last night was one of the biggest nights so far, and it expanded to Staten Island and Brick Township, NJ), from people who were reporting their clocks changed time when a drone flew over their car or house, or the car stalls, or lights in their house flicker but I didn't pay too much attention to it. When it's one person saying it, it's a fluke. Two's a coincidence. But when another one claiming the same thing is on the news, then there's probably something to this.

I have video of two of them floating in the air, so now I understand their technology (not a good sign, only makes it much worse regarding the magnitude of this situation) these drones are like mini jets they don't have propellers like the toy drones that lets them float or hover in the air. The same type are the ones seen in the UK over military bases.
It's sad we don't have any formal statements from our "leaders" about it. There were kids crying last night when 4 of them were hovering over their house saying "mommy I'm scared". I feel bad for these kids, they were probably up all night long (it didn't help when their parents showed fear in front of them).
These guys are flying between 500 and 1K ft, mostly very slow or they hover. If you freeze the following video and look at the nose, you can easily see it's not a corporate jet (they wouldn't be able to fly that slow to begin with). These are military type drones, not the small propeller drones everyone's familiar with which is probably why it's not getting the news attention it deserves.

Here is also a NJ resident claiming she witnesses a drone land behind her property.
Update, for those of you who don’t/won’t bother to read comments. This is CLINTON TWP., HUNTERDON CO., NJ). I called CTPD dispatch twice last night (12/5/24). The first call was at 10:11, to report seeing 20+ drones widely dispersed and at various altitudes looking south and east of my home. A neighbor told me he had seen one hover over my house, then take off quickly. He thought it was probably a small/hobby type drone. My second call was at 10:58 (12/5/24) to report one that I saw land and was stationary and appeared to be down in the heavily wooded area south and east of my home. I watched it for several hours and had to stop to rest after 02:00 12/6/24. It was difficult to get a good image since I was shooting through dense trees with branches moving in the wind. I did see two white lights, one red light and one green light. They appeared to be blinking (but that could have been branches interrupting my line of sight). These are the facts that I am reporting. Sorry I did at this point. Two CT Police officers came to my home and we three walked as far down my property as it was safe to do so. We tried to figure out how to get to it, but this would involve approaching from the other side of the ravine. I cannot tell you what happened after that. I will continue to watch the area. If this is a landed/downed drone, I doubt the batteries are still charged enough to power lights. As I said in comments, the pilot may be unable to get to the drone because of where it is situated.
So, it appears a large drone has landed and been stationary on the ground (lights still on) on a neighbor’s property or a property bordering our neighborhood. We have a ravine between us. It could be on Wonderview. Anyone on here from that area? Clinton Twp. Police were here and witnessed it. Photo in comments. This is a heavily wooded area.
Must have been one of those temporary timeclock changing drones they talk about to the Toktik. Man, what kind of alien technology has our government captured?
