If Kamala Harris wins election then this will be there first time I can think of in which a president picked a vice presidential running mate that ending up winning an election and then picked their own vice presidential running mate that was then elected president. The only thing that comes close is going all the way back to the beginning and George Washington had John Adams as vice president and Adams won election and then Adam as president had Thomas Jefferson as vice president and then Jefferson was later elected president. But Adams didn't pick Jefferson as vice president. Back then whoever came in second place became vice president and that is how Jefferson was vice president to Adams....
But Obama spun this magical spell of picking Biden who picked Harris. Again, thanks Obama.
When I was younger I believed this. Then I grew up and see the damage alcohol and legalized weed has done.
I see the benefits of legalized alcohol (not of marijuana which is illegal here), which are manyfold, starting with "far less money for organized crime".
And far less money spent on incarcerating people, and so on.
Freedom can be damaging for people who aren't good at using it. THAT'S OK. It's a filter, let them fail. The rest of us can move on without them.

Robinson also has touted himself as a small-business owner who believes in
personal responsibility while slamming people who take government “charity.”
But his background includes multiple bankruptcies, five years of unfiled federal taxes
and a day care business that was cited numerous times for violations
of state standards that are meant to keep children safe.

The closest I can think of is Eisenhower --> Nixon---> Ford. But Nixon didn't really pick Ford as a running mate and Ford was never elected. Morally you can say Reagan--->HW Bush---> W Bush is a similar (if disastrous) parallel.

Robinson is polling disastrously at like -11 in a purely purple state which helps you understand why he is trying "hail Mary" obscene things, he is probably going to try to cash in his "purist extremist" persona he is building, after he inevitably loses the elections.

You've watched too many Hollywood movies. Alcohol consumption drastically decreased during prohibition, it also drastically increased when prohibition was ended. Alcohol is a huge drain on society and resources. Most crimes, murders, domestic violence, traffic accidents, etc. are caused by alcohol while wiping out ~10% of the population with alcoholism.

Thanks for the clip. I haven't watched msnbc in decades now, but I did recently listen to a podcast series that Maddow did about the first Christian coup attempt on America is the 40's. It was really well done.
Any ways... that's the intention with all of this. To pummel conservatives w/ conspiracies, and specifically ones about a secret jewish kabal that democratic institutions cannot control. Hence... democracy is for suckers. There's no need in trying to uphold democracy. Take the whole system down. If you listen to pretty much any conservative today, they all say this to one degree or another. It's taken hold.
As they say... Fascism sucks, unless it's my fascism.
