Trump 2nd term prediction thread

Trump 2nd term prediction thread

So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.

Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.

A bit of an anemic OP, I know, just interested to hear people's thoughts now that the election uncertainty is over.

When The Fool discovers that the little Cretin of Magog is not his pal but is only using him as a tool, Mars will reign on the 3rd Rock. Cruel Wars, bombardments, besiegements, death, horrors aghast, the atom unleashed. Woe to mankind (except the ones called up in rapture to streets of gold.)

Whenever I hear something like this I'm always reminded of the line from DeNiro in Heat where he says "never get attached to something that you can't leave in 30 seconds flat when you feel the heat coming". While not a career criminal I've always tried to live my life like this.

Neil McCauley, the character in the movie that DiNiro played, was an evil career violent criminal, a multi murderer. Seems weird to grab onto to that statement as a way to live. BTW the character hung onto to his hatred of people who crossed him pretty hard, couldn't let it go.

There's plenty of Buddhist scripture about non-attachment if you prefer.

As insane (and terrible for the health of the country) as the “election was stolen” lie is, it works on these imbeciles. And since the elites in the GOP who know better are dogshit humans, they allow it. In spite of how bad it is for the morale of the country. It’s a great tool they can use to control their tools, so they use it. By any means necessary!!! Just look at these numbers…..

…….Trumptards will believe anything….they are uneducated AND stupid. A fatal combination.

Leave it to brain donor conservatives to think that blue states having liberal policies means anything at all.

If you wanted to imply something from that data more than that, the obvious conclusion would be states that don't suppress voters tend to vote more blue.

But they're not ready for that conversation.

Seems like a pretty obvious troll. You fell for it.

Funny, I didn't think you were new around here. Also funny that you didn't say that to the two people that responded to it before me.

I hate that I bother you that much. I really do.

Trump won, so this is what we get. The worm has turned in America. Make no mistake about it. The bad people are now in charge. It will only get worse from here (or “better” if you’re an ignorant ******* and think guys like Miller belong in power, like most Trumpers.) Your father’s America, the one that made this country great after WWII, is dead and gone. American greatness will ultimately be destroyed by the ******s claiming they’re gonna make it great again as these people are predominantly talentless white folks who cannot even pronounce the word “hubris”, much less tell you what it means. And they don’t need to cuz they’re in charge and they’re gonna do whatever the **** they want. Buckle up.

Solid understanding as usual. Don Quixote Trump.

There is a big difference in saying “an election was stolen” and “an election was run well”. You seem to suggest they are the same or very similar. There are a lot of reasons someone could say an election wasn’t run well that don’t include an election being stolen.

…I can’t believe I had to just explain that to you.

The 2 elections were basically the same. But GOPtards were told the 2020 election was “stolen”. And since they’re uneducated simpletons, they (and you) believed it. The US is so ****ed.

I never believed that election was stolen in the sense that dems stuffed the ballot box or did something funny with the voting machines.

You never addressed my point that saying the election was stolen and the election was not well run are drastically different things. Anyone that would suggest these are even almost the same either is being dishonest, isn't very smart or English isn't their first language.

If you want to be pessimistic about the future of the country don't worry about how some voters are stupid - there have always been stupid voters. Instead, you should concentrate on how our gov't never reduced spending after they inflated their budget during a pandemic and at some point (likely in the next 2 years) we are going to have to face the music from those poor decisions. The silver lining in all of this is that there is hope that trump is going to do what he said and is going to drastically cut gov't spending which will be great for middle to long-term growth.

there is hope that trump is going to do what he said

No there isn’t. Trump does whatever he wants in the moment. What he said about it earlier is completely irrelevant. Having hope that Trump’s words mean what they say is, in my opinion, utterly foolish. Especially when he’s trying to sell you something. Well, you bought it and he’s got your money, so he can do whatever he wants now. Maybe he’ll do what he said. Maybe he won’t. He’s devoid of character, so he if he fulfills a promise it will be purely self-servingly incidental.

Trump all day

The rules no longer matter. Well done, Trump supporters. Well. Done.

Trouble is we get him at night as well....... 😆

Democrats seriously believed they could get a former president locked up for incorrect paper work lol

Trump is devoid of character, and he lies all the time, but I wouldn't necessarily agree with the bolded. If Trump campaigns on a promise that he will pursue some terrible policy, he is very like to follow through on pursuing that terrible policy. The bigger mistake in that scenario is believing that the promise to pursue the terrible policy is empty campaign talk.

What is Trump trying to sell us that we bought?

What's your big conspiracy theory, is it he's a hitler like the MSM already tried to portray him as and is about to enslave the world to rule over us?

If so, do you have anything to back up these false claims, because that is, in my opinion, utterly foolish.

You can take off your tin foil hat, it's not true.

That he cares about you.
