Trump 2nd term prediction thread
So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.
Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.
A bit of an anemic OP, I know, just interested to hear people's thoughts now that the election uncertainty is over.

They're actually ranked about #5. The only country that's significantly better is Hungary, of all places.
What would you say if I told you that research has been ongoing for decades and there's no causal link that's been found?

No argument. Continue the research. Let's just not pretend it hasn't ever been researched or that the research shows the opposite.
Couple of interesting facts:
1) American children are among the most unhealthy in the developed world.
2) American children are the most highly vaxxed in the world.
Draw your own conclusions from that.

American children and Americans in general are the most unhealthy in the developed world because we eat mountains of absolute garbage just about every day, and parents are arrested and charged with literal crimes if their 10 year old children are seen walking half a mile to the store without adult supervision.
They have unhealthy food in every country, but America specializes in it, and we max out the quantity slider at every opportunity.
I'm no bastion of health and discipline, but even I wince when I see my friends constantly handing their kids hundreds of liquid calories in the form of various flavors of sugar-water, or letting a 5th grader put away an entire bag of pizza rolls.
Now add ipads and cell phones to the mix, and we're primed and ready for a WALL-E reality. Zero physical activity and a bottomless pantry full of cheap carbs and sugar. What could go wrong?
Doubling the price of strawberries and grapes by deporting all the illegal workers won't help this, but it's not as if we're really making an effort to change our ways as it is. America is just addicted to sugar and the internet. End of story.
Pretty much exactly that. It has nothing at all to do with food safety, which is actually very good in the USA (for now).

Don't disagree, but add in a huge number of inadequately tested vaccines to the mix and you end up with the ongoing disaster that is American children's health.
Pretty sure kids in other developed countries eat a lot of garbage as well.
We have enough Euros here to just ask. I get the sense that the UK is pretty similar to American in their food habits, but other, more "civilized" areas of Europe gasp in shock and horror at what we shovel into the mouths of our small children.
