The economy is fine in the same way a car crash survivor feels fine despite broken bones as long you feed them pain killers. However, at some point you have to fix broken bones and get them off the pain killers. That is what trump is attempting to do - heal the economy from the broken bones (gov't policy to shut down the economy for so long and incentivizing people not to work too much for too long and print too much money) and get it off pain killers (massive gov't spending that has propped up the economy).

Cutting bloated gov't spending (just like getting off pain killers) is usually a short-term pain and long-term gain proposition.

The annoying thing to me about conservatives is they tend to interject their gripes about the world into just about any conversation. I mean like random people I'll bump into that I don't even know at a restaurant or on the street. We could be talking about pie, and it will suddenly become about how liberals aren't allowing them to have a piece of the pie! 😀 A lot of it seems to be wanting validation for their views, they probably suspect might not be the most kind or just. That's just my opinion. I don't hear that stuff randomly coming out of liberals. It only happens when that is an actual topic of conversation. That's just my anecdotal experience.
