are you baiting me? if I respond then rococo is gonna get big mad.

I'm not mad, and I don't think I have said anything to suggest that I am.

Very few people here have ever made me mad. Maybe Cuepee. That guy was truly exhausting when he got wound up on legal stuff that he didn't understand.

Maybe I lost the plot here, but I forget why it would be wrong for Roc to be "big mad" at posters who are deliberately trying to irritate him.

By definition, if you disagree with Victor you are mad.

you def did lose the plot. Im not trying to make roc mad. he was the one coming at me.

Everyone is always "coming at you", you poor little Victim, you.

I wouldn't say that I was coming at you (or vice versa). I wasn't mad, and I didn't think you were trying to make me mad.

But if you make more than 80,000 posts in a forum, you have to expect people to form opinions about you.

More like the same post 80,000 times.

all of those posts except one were in response to people claiming the Soviets or Stalin were bad guys. naturally, you would never criticize this post which brought the Soviets out up out of nowhere for no reasonor this post which if I posted anything even remotely similar would get me permabanned.nor do you seem to have a problem with posts like these which once again bring up

It’s very relevant that you talk about the West being evil incarnate while supporting some of the worst regimes in human history. The West has brought a lot of great things to balance out the bad stuff at least.

How is the fact that the US profited off slavery relevant to Israel? Idk but you keep bringing up how bad the US’s past is every time you discuss them.

not really. until about 2020 I posted like an average Dem supporter.

by formula72

I'll give credit to victor here that he has specially said multiple times that NK and the Soviets were the good guys yet people still think he either never said it or doesn't believe it which is strange to me.

I'd much prefer those posters than people who pretend to claim the opposite while supporting said things. We have too many of those already.

fwiw i wouldnt put putin at the same level has stalin, hence my question .

why questionning ?

pretty good resume.

ps: if stalin was good, how t f can you say USA is bad anyway shrug.

Death counts don't matter - they are points on a scoreboard. It's different people having different trajectories on how the world should operate.

If deaths mattered, we wouldn't fight the wars.

but I am going by death counts. also, its all relative. Stalin is only good compared to Churchill, Hitler, and the Tsar.

I guess that makes Ted Bundy a saint then, he's only in the double digits!

This is a laughably ******ed way of measuring who is worse than who. But if we were going to measure it that way then obviously the Stalinists and Maoists are the worst regimes ever.

im sure ww2 jews would agree with you.
And they wernt even personally in a war.

Victor is just a tankie troll who is banned from other forums, by people who directionally align with him politically, because of his antisemitism and his glorification of some of the worst monsters in human history. Engage him if it entertains you, but you have to accept it is all just bad faith and there is no serious interaction to be had.

lol

Correct. If the population of Cambodia in 1975 had been 200 million rather than 8 million, how many deaths would we attribute to the Khmer Rouge under Pol Pot?

I don’t think the pro rata death toll idea is valid. A life is a life no matter where it is and the loss of it inflicts misery on family members wherever they are.

Neither approach is entirely defensible. What you say is correct, but it is also correct that you shouldn't get moral bonus points for having less lethal weapons at your disposal, or fewer potential victims to use them against.

Isolating on any death statistic is going to be a pretty bad way of doing things. You can obviously torture people for indefinite periods of time and never kill them, or place them under so much control they want to die but are forced to live, or intentionally exterminate much smaller populations as a way of completely wiping them out, or just any number of things I can think of.

Was slavery less bad than dying on the slave ships because the people that survived the slave ships got to keep their lives, even if they were tortured and raped? I mean I guess you can think that, but it seems silly.

by TheBigEasy

You were clearly trying to be one of not both. No matter. I’ll block you now so I ain’t gotta read the drivel your brain vomits out. Bye, moron.

I agree I was trying to be both clever and funny.

That said, blocking me is probably a wise decision on your part, given your apparent emotional fragility.

I don't think Vic is a troll. I think he believes every word he says.

He is staggeringly bad compared to all of them. Mao could possibly have given him lessons. Nobody else.
