Looks like Eliot was ripping off Blake
"You never know what is enough unless you know what is more than enough."
(....looking for the Shakespeare quote)
I was pointing out how dumb it was to mock her dietIt's actually working out well for her. Not only is her bloodwork coming out good but she feels better. For her it's obviously better to not have crippling arthritis and brutal depression. Not being on a bunch of meds. All that has cleared up according to herIt;s clearly a more healthy diet than most americans, including the re
Woah those are some big feelings! Take a deep breath and work through it my guy.
Notice how right wing posters don't have pissy fits and name call. You may not like their views but at least they talk to you like a human being.
What didn't happen is that I advocated it as the optimal diet or recommend it to people who don't have inflammation or autoimmune disorders which is what jchristo is suggesting like a methed out rtard who's had their feelings hurt
Checks out. 👍
This is exactly it. They don't like his opinion so he is bad. What makes it worse for them is that he is extremely intelligent and articulate. The same thing applies to Ben Shapiro and Charlie Kirk. Before I ever knew who these guys were The only thing I heard was they were horrible people. This is why I check things out for myself. It kind of reminds me of what I go through on
I wouldn't regard Peterson as articulate, he comes across as kinda vacuous and pseudo intellectual, actually. To me he's a grifter.
badly flawed, redicolous at times, deranged on diet.
still far better than basically every idol on the left to be clear, do you acknowledge that?
would you rather worship a statue of Floyd or of Peterson is forced to choose at gunpoint?
It is this type of stunted, sophomoric, binary argument that makes people not believe you are an adult and find you morally horrific and an abomination.
. As others have pointed out, no one idolizes Floyd. He is a recognized victim of police brutality and the statutes present the point in history that the us society no longer condones the use of excessive force against a citizen for mere resisting.
The right just hate the idea of statues of the victims of police brutality, especially if they're black. That's really all there is to it.
I have little need for public statuary unless the statue in question has standalone artistic merit.
That said, if you think that removing a statue that memorializes a social injustice from the perspective of the oppressor is a bigger social problem than creating a statue that memorializes a social injustice from the perspective of the person who got the ass end of things, you need to reevaluate your entire belief system.

Can't speak for anyone else on The Right other than myself*, but I kinda dislike statues in general. Might even be a Second Commandment violation.
*But apparently jalfrezi can speak for everyone on The Right which is bizarre, but it is what it is.
ISIS doesn't like statues.
I think the 2nd commandment just says you're not allowed to make graven images. It's just the sculptor who is in trouble.
Also "You shall not make for yourself any graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." In the water under the Earth? Not in aquifers? You can't make a graven image of anything that's in an aquifer? I don't think that occurred to anyone until you mentioned it, God.

You quoted Exodus 20:4.
Verse 5: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them...
So, not just the sculptor in trouble.
Exodus 20:4 (NIV): You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
No, but I don't believe the creator of the universe will throw me into hell for eternity for not following his rules. It's sort of puzzling that you haven't put much thought into this.
Idk if I built the universe and gave people free will to either follow the rules or not follow the rules, I'm not sure what is supposed to be done with the rule breakers.
You're worried that looking at a statue is bowing down and serving it? I guess if the consequence of being wrong is going to hell, better safe than sorry. The Orthodox Jews call that "building fences" (even without the going to hell part)
