FWIW, I am not going to provide any details on the subject. I believe in letting the past be the past and moving on. But I assure you in the moment it was top notch entertainment.

What element of Dave's abusive behavior did you find the most entertaining?

I honestly don't get you guys. I ask politely if we can move on from this topic, not for Sklansky's sake but for the sake of the other people involved.

Then someone pops in to say, "I'm not going to repeat the details, but if I did, I can assure everyone that they would be mightily entertained."

Then another person responds with "ok, **** it, let's hear what details you found most entertaining."

Is moving on really that difficult?

i get where you're coming from the toothpaste is already squeezed out of the tube

berkey did like 2 hours of podcasting about it a year ago

it's all out there and for everyone to see and i don't think a niche thread here with a dozen active participants and maybe 30 lurkers mentioning it further is really going to drive the needle one way or another

Fine. It's all out there. In that case, we don't need to relive it in this forum.

it's a general chat thread. we don't need to talk about it, sure, but its the general direction an off-topic thread took.

are posters breaking forum guidelines? if not, is it your personal preference we dont talk about sklansky? why not? will someone be banned for continuing to talk about it? posts deleted?

Oh, let's be nice to rocco and let the topic drop for now.

maybe he's worried we'll suspect him as being one of those who'd gladly do things like throw acid on women just because they think it would please him

I think that if forum management tells you not to talk about specific real life situations involving private people (not talking about sklansky, rather the people purportedly involved in whatever it was), then you should stop talking about that, but it's just me

Is it against the forum rules? Will people be banned? Probably not. I guess it depends on how far it goes. I can tell you that I'm not interested in watching the toddlers of the forum try and figure out exactly where the line is so they can win some imaginary prize for tiptoeing as close to the line as possible.

I think it is a little gross to continue discussing the personal lives of two women, one of whom is dead, just because they crossed paths with David Sklansky. I guess that you and others feel differently.

And rickroll is partially correct. If a moderator suggests that people move on as a matter of basic decency, that simply encourages some people to continue. One might imagine that wouldn't be a problem with a user group as old as the 2+2 user group, but history suggests otherwise. For that reason, I'll stop with the requests and just make whatever decisions seem appropriate.

It's a fair point, and we should all strive to follow Lucio's example in this matter.

If you want to discuss a DS personal issue from years ago..... that has ALREADY been thoroughly detailed..... please do it in another 2+2 area.

I will ban for continuation in P&S. And for questioning my logic. I have stated it is too old a topic to continue.... plus there are other areas in 2+2 you can dig up the subject. I have said it does not belong in P&S. My motives are, it's stupid to continue and I have made a decision.

by Trolly McTrollson m

Is it? Posts about it tend to get ghosted is my understanding.

Many years ago, probably 10+ now, there was a very quietly executed erasure of any liability 2+2 may have had in the ordeal. I believe Captain Tom pressured them a great deal as well. Those who know don’t talk about it much now.

I have an original copy of the email because I was CC’ed.

So Puff Daddy is going down, or what??

Puff Daddy, Diddy, P. Diddy, Sean John Combs, worse than Epstein now? Worse than Weinstein, R. Kelly?

Sorry, I just caught up

Puffy is going down, ask Rococo, he probably knows better since he is from NY.

Its Diddygate now. He probably killed 2 Pac and Biggie a bunch of other guys incl his wife too. But now they got him for smuggling people and other crimes.

Puffy is going down, ask Rococo, he should know...

When celebrities with near infinite resources are involved, there are no guarantees.

But I wouldn't have a good feeling if I were him. This is definitely serious.

Yeah its serious. Weinstein had resources too though.
If everything turns out to be true, and the feds talked to several witnesses already, he is worse than weintsein and epstein combined.

Bro, what are you talking about? Pac is alive and well, he just doesn't like publicity.

Rococo and King Spew, on behalf of everybody, let me thank you for not just deleting the banter regarding the good old days of 2p2. 😀

Seriously, any of you guys seen this movie Butcher Baker, Nightmare Maker? It rules.

lol

It does? Tell us about it

Sounds like one of those rom-coms to me.

Just curious, has there ever been anyone who reached the top tier of hip-hop / rap success who wasn't a criminal?
