Coordi/ any other Colorado people: thoughts on Fairplay? Things to do there, good hikes? On my there from Salida right now to look at a place to rent.
Fairplay is nice. Its blown up a bit the last few years. Close to como, which is legit middle of nowhere, and close to breck which is a bustling ski town. Centrally located to aspen, crested butte, leadville, salida, frisco, silverthorn/dillon and more.
I'd recommend Sapphire Point Overlook and the Upper Blue Lakes Reservoir as a couple of easily accessible bang for your buck trails near by, though the options are endless

You off of 9? My dad and his business partner had a place along the blue river at the base of red mountain back in the 80's and I spent a ton of time there.

I quit my job in southern California and I'm I'm headed to Colombia I'm just not quite ready to leave the US as I have some loose ends like a small claims case in San Diego I need to pursue and wanted to get my winter dog some real winter.
I've also always loved this part of Colorado specifically Salida/Buena Vista and for whatever reason all the places that I can live for free don't seem that appealing to me right now. Probably I'll end up getting some sort of part time job in Breckenridge as apparently that's where all the jobs are at least if you're in Fairplay.
I have skied/snowboarded but poorly. And only fly fished once in Colombia where I caught nothing but it was a fun adventure and my buddy who is a lot more experienced did catch some trout which were delicious. It would be something I'd be interested in learning.
BGnight and hole in wan are going to take a short break to better understand why debating the ethics and science behind abortions is welcome here, but referring to woman as “whores” who “lets guys bust nuts” in them is not. Misogynistic rhetoric, slut shaming, and gendered slurs are not allowed here, regardless of the temperature of the debates.

Nowhere in that post does Crossnerd say you called anyone a whore. There were two different things she included in quotes there; BGnight said one of them and you said the other. I assume you were banned because what you said was considered misogynistic and/or slut shaming, while BGnight was some part of that plus the gendered slur. You might disagree with your ban but I'm pretty sure misrepresenting what Crossnerd said isn't going to help your cause.

I recently found out a buddy of mine received fly fishing lessons from Joan Wulf, and while I don't know who that is, he made it seem like a pretty big deal

Instead you said "having guys slurp jello shots out of my cleavage" and "lets guys bust nuts inside of me". You will have to contend with a mountain pass to get to work in Breck..... not always open.

You didn’t criticize hook up culture you criticized women, which is something you do regularly. But not really in an a “I don’t like this specific thing” sense, more in a general “I dislike everything about women” sense.
