The practice is called "bacha bazi", and has been a cultural plague in the region for a long time.It is a very pervasive myth that the Taliban is less permissive of it, but the reality it is simply that when they are in power all reporting of it disappears. Sudden lack of reporting of sexual assault over a region / organization / country rarely means sexual assaults have sto

when you look at stuff like Epstein Island, Kincora boys school, Jimmy Saville, Gerry Sandusky, the Catholic Church, Yehuda Meshi Zahav one could call it a cultural plague amongst the West as well.

by HorseshoeJimmy m

How do you all know about that practice??

I learned about the CIA and US Army and previously the Brits providing boys to local warlords to gain their allegiance. pretty standard stuff from the Empire really.

I didn't realize it could refer to anal

...wat?

Am I the only one that figures it was probably +EV that I was circumsized at birth (as the vast majority of Americans of my day were).I get that it is supposed to feel better with the extra skin, but as I never had it I dont really miss it. And it isn't like I ever turned down sex because it just didn't feel good enough, so doesn't seem to be much of an issue in that respect.

Keep rationalising and no, you last the same, it's simply more pleasurable when your genitalia is intact.

Vic and his usual whataboutism. Really is just Groundhog Day with you innit?

I'd like to know more about the test that proves this.

So Colorado people, why is your state so dog-unfriendly?

I never had an issue taking my dog into places in the San Diego area... Walmart, Home Depot, smoke shops, dispensaries...the inside non-stop portions of restaurants even especially in Ocean Beach.

Here I'm finding even restaurant patios closed off to dogs and I've been kicked out of multiple places now for not having a service dog. I had to get some papers copied signed yesterday so I went to a print shop in Salida and the sign said "all dogs welcome" so I got mine out of the car but you'd never see that in San Diego because that's just assumed.

One girl I talked to from Denver said that it's just this area because so many travel through here with their dogs and of course not all are well behaved. But the funny thing is how Ocean Beach which is pretty much dog mecca is complete the opposite and it seems like all the dogs there get along great. And I think the reason for that is that they're just going to be better socialized in San Diego because of the dog beaches and instead of the dog parks here where there might be 5 dogs they're going to places where there 200 dogs.

Someone also said how Chaffee county is still a conservative area and how that affects dog policy-- but I would think that you'd see the opposite-- that in more conservative places you'd see more freedom wrt to dogs and in more liberal places you'd see more " for your safety" sorts of restrictions...but it's not holding with my experience.

Just do what the other douchebags do - order a service dog vest from Amazon and let your dog roam around all the Home Depots, pestering all their customers.

Calling Colorado dog unfriendly is pretty much rage bait

Calling Colorado dog unfriendly is pretty much rage bait

I had a guy who looked like he could be the GM of the Walmart in Salida give me a bunch of crap-- he was like "is that a service dog?"...and before I could even answer he says "if it were a service dog it wouldn't be sniffing around like that it has to be a certified service dog"..and I'm just buying a few things and carrying a basket and not a cart I told him I was out of there in a few minutes. I'm not accustomed to leaving her in the car because it gets hot and living in Phoenix you hear the horror stories all of the time about kids dying. I also got kicked out of a sporting goods place in Buena Vista, and at a coffee shop in Fairplay where I was fully intending to go onto the patio the girl working barely even let me place my order inside. At the sporting goods place I was ready to be like "here take my card then and go get me what I'd like". And it's not like my dog is being bad. They're just Nazis here.

Not sure what you expect us to tell you here, maybe you should just take the hint.

Maybe I need one of those dog backpacks for her. At just less than 50 lbs maybe there is one out there.

Fortunately its 55 degrees in Colorado (colder in the mountains) so you don't have to worry about your dog dying in your car while you grab a coffee

Maybe you need to chill out and stop taking your dog into private businesses.

To be fair those places were out of compliance with ADA. There’s no such thing as “service dog certification” as it’s a generally unregulated term. They’re allowed to ask you if your dog is a service dog and what service it performs. They’re also allowed to kick you out if your dog is barking, being aggressive, or just generally acting untrained.

I have no idea how reliable those stories are but those people are definitely risking a lawsuit if the info being provided is accurate.

Lol. If he is a GM of Walmart, then he knows all about you douchebags so he didn't even want to give you a chance to spew the typical bullshit he's heard hundreds of times about how your dog is a service dog when it's obvious she's not.

Lol at, "It's no big deal, brah, I just have a handbasket so I'm just picking up a few items so I deserve special treatment."

You could possibly argue that assuming his dog isn't a service dog is out of compliance, I guess, but nothing else described even comes close

Yeah, its also illegal to claim your dog is a service dog when it isn't but I'm sure there is zero enforcement so you have these common sense battles that happen on the ground floor that are fully instigated by people who think they deserve special treatment for nonsense reasons

You COULD be a massive Karen and try to hold some underpaid idiot to task over ADA nonsense that you were trying to exploit OR you could just be a normal person and not do all that

Honestly, who really cares about health and sanitation in places like restaurants and grocery stores, and who cares about people who may have allergies or phobias, and especially who cares about the liability concerns of these private businesses? Sounds like a bunch of Nazis to me.

by whatthejish m

Absolutely.

Sense of entitlement is off the charts for you LB. WAY! too many other places to take yer dog in CO....

In reality, there are WAY too many people that don't like dogs for you to have your attitude. But I suspect you are unable to internalize this and empathize.

Definitely not entitled, disrespectful, anti-social, narcissistic behavior at all, no idea what you’re talking about!

Why do you think San Diego is so much better? Just more douchebag Nazis in Colorado?

Probably it's the colder weather.

CA first legalized weed four years before CO did, so CO is still catching up to how laid back CA is, brah. Until then, stop being a special snowflake, I guess... or just get a service vest from Amazon and if ever questioned about it throw a hissy fit and threaten to sue over mental distress.

I always assume Lucky is just rage-baiting, but I'm starting to wonder if he really is this big of a Karen in real life.
