I am very familiar with the connotations of the term and using it was very intentional. I was criticizing Knights (our new antisemitic forum apologist) and his muses, Candace and Tucker, who have spent most of the last year dancing around the Jewish question on their podcasts.

Although I am highly critical of these people; I also acknowledge they are popular and seemingly increasingly influential in right wing politics. So I am not sure normal people tuning them out and just pretending they aren't there is the best strategy.

What is this "Jewish question" to which you keep referring?

Welcome to the catch-22 of social media algorithms. If people tune idiots on social media out, the lack of opposition will allow them to present their view as sane. If you object, you will cause engagement which causes the algorithm to favour them and present them to more people.

One answer to stop extremism is moderation / censorship. However, defining extremism can be tricky. At one point it would have been extremism to suggest that people should have the right to vote for their government. And regardless if you do get your moderation / censorship to an acceptable level, when big influencers push increasingly radical views, then the Overton window is invariably going to shift. So, even moderation is a band-aid at best.

Then there is of course the fact that social media are not beholden to the rules of the public square, even though it has subsumed its function. Twitter has been caught several times gaming the algorithm to favour its owner's political ideals, which is awkward because some of his political ideals involves promoting literal Nazis. META / Facebook has extremely lax moderation while promoting engagement above all else, making it a perfect recruiting environment for extremists. Reddit all but openly embraces astroturfing and bots. I don't know wtf is going on with TikTok, but somehow teenagers can get sent down an algorithmic hole where Hitler is a hero.

Lastly, there is also a much broader point. Engaging with the ideologies of these morons is damaging in itself. Minutes and hours spent arguing against banal idiocy is minutes and hours we don't get to use to to argue about things where can actually learn a thing or two. And I don't mean that discussions should only be with moderates or pragmatists. There can be value in a discussion with a well-versed and hard-hitting communist, but there are few lessons learned from spending time discussing with someone who promotes Tiktok-socialism going "hurr durr capitalism bad!".

I’m very proud of my views as I stand for equality. And I champion the religion of Judaism and Islam …as a Christian. Anyone could look at my posting history im the complete opposite of some kind of a bigot. It’s all in my posting history unlike… other posters just ask them what their thoughts are on Islam…. This is the attitude of a small amount of posters in the politics section. They don’t give one **** about what people actually think they just skip over what they say and that’s it.

I can see that this message board is censorship medium or censorship medium heavy. I’m on another message board where there is effectively no censorship. Of course folks are not allowed to physically threaten others. And in b4 some troll says it must be storm front. This message board “two plus two” will ban whoever wants to. It is their rules and that is completely up to them. But anyone who calls me a racist or something similar is lying/trolling . And there’s only a few people on this message board to say that anyways. To address rococo and the other moderator. I don’t even know what sane washing is. It seems like some kind of a weird new aged term. Somebody made a thread about Nicholas Fuentes and I simply responded to it. I mean, it’s really crazy that I am criticized for simply participating in that thread. And I do not support Fuentes. But I do support Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens who are not racist. Fuentes is racist as he said literally he is racist on the Candace Owens podcast….. some of the points that I agree with on Fuentes on is probably the same views that Ben Shapiro holds, which is for example, criticism of illegal immigration or the porn industry….. there’s no “sane washing” w/e the hell that even is…. All I have said is that major media platforms as journalists have a duty to the American people to interview popular figures like Ben Shapiro and Nick Fuentes and ask them the tough questions. To call that “sane washing” is so ****ing stupid. As I’m sure there’s things I agree with Randy Fine on who is openly a bigot. Does that make me a bigot? No it doesn’t how ****ing stupid is at that this point has to even be explained.

Tucker is actually on a much different level compared to Nicholas Fuentes and even Randy Fine. As Tucker numerous times and said it is wrong to criticize all Jews. And that it is against Christianity to hate someone for being Jewish or Muslim. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Randy say something like that in defense of Islam for example.

Of course Randy Fine gets significant airtime on CNN and Fox News. Which btw he should get some airtime as an influential figure in American politics. The journalist need to confront him about his anti-Islam abuse. Just like any journalist needs to confront Nick Fuentes about his anti-Jewish views . Is that ****ing “sane washing” no, it’s not. People like Dunyain constantly falsely accuse others of antisemitism. It is a heinous tactic. And most people in the world see right through that garbage. The goal is obvious they are so annoying with the false accusations of racism They do it so much that they hope to break people into saying something bigoted so they can say. “SEE he’s racist!!!!!” This is also a designed tactic by the pro war in Gaza people to justify the heinous atrocities in Gaza. Which of course again they are failing miserably at. And there’s good people in Israel, but they have horrible political leadership.

Pretty easy to tell who the agenda driven people are/trolls who respond with one dumb stupid line to a post with multiple paragraphs. That is a way to completely diminish What is actually said and to ignore points being made.
