President Elon Musk

He probably deserves his own thread at this point, discuss accordingly

You realize this includes the governments of the majority of the people in the world, whose people generally are ok with this, as long as they aren't the ones being targeted? If you actually look around, the liberal world is fairly small and getting smaller by the year. I always appreciate the cognitive dissonance when liberals say people who do "X,Y and Z" are evil or immoral

Yes, most people live in repressive **** holes which is why liberals are so cognitive to the damage currently happening to our country and how it’s generally a bad thing

It’s almost like the libs actually care about this country while you would happily embrace a lower standard of life if you could avoid more brown people

I mean, your post doesn't differentiate between Japan, Saudi Arabia, Botswana, Mauritius, North Korea, Russia or Taiwan, but instead you make a sweeping generalization about skin color. And you even do this in the same paragraph where you criticize some facsimile of "liberals" for lacking moral consistency!

I mean, sorry, but that just adds up to a very poor argument and even comes off as hypocritical. If you want to argue that nations and states should be judged based on what they do instead of who they are or what their populace generally looks like, then surely you must be first out of the block to do just that.

As for my personal opinion on that specific matter, I am no moral relativist. Feel free to find one to discuss it further with.

Other than that, I'm struggling to see any relevance in your post to the issue at hand. The US government is seemingly in the process of putting its entire population under gray-zone intelligence. Meaning it is a type of surveillance its own law enforcement and intelligence agencies can't legally do, but it is still semi-legal in the private sector due to lax and outdated regulation.

Someone smart enough to put 3 and 3 together should be able to work out why this raises some pretty damn important questions and issues, especially when your country just recently reeled from leaks about large-scale surveillance programs like PRISM.... and the civil rights issues surrounding PRISM were bad, but they are like a gentle pat on the head compared to the sledgehammer that companies like Palantir offers.

Dems loving Musk now for sh*tting on Trump spending bill is a great plot twist.

Trump being incompetent enough to lose Musl is pretty lol even by trump standards.

He wouldn't have gone to Trump if the Dems hadn't lost him first.

Weird since he always hedged his bets by supporting and donating to some from each political party, not just one. Until recently.

Wonder what changed?

Damn Elon and those guys are the dorks that get sold bags of bunk lol

He' not a child. He can be held responsible for who he supports.

Musk's goal was to gut all agencies that had oversight into him or any of his companies (and datamine everyone's personal information).

I mean, if he was truly interested in curbing waste, fraud and abuse, he would have gone straight for the Pentagon, which has failed 7 straight audits.

Now that he's been excommunicated, he's doing the obvious smart thing and speak out about the bill. But everyone knows it's the bill he supported.

Political powers too strong to gut the Pentagon pork

I also haven’t seen any love for musk except from the politicians who used him. Certainly not from any dems

List those political powers. List the names preventing additional auditing.

Didn't Trump's dumbass say that after Musk guts all the agencies that interfere with his businesses being able to do whatever he wants, they would hit the Pentagon next?

Why does Trump want to give them an additional trillion dollars when they haven't been able to pass an audit for seven straight years?

Dems and Republicans. All the same.

Don’t be ridiculous, all trump supporters only support trump cuz Dems were mean to them or something

Dems and Republicans. All the same.

If you're going to be that vague to avoid an answer, why not just go with the old the deep state answer?

Let’s be absolutely clear here, the only thing the Republican Party does publicly is demonize trans people, demonize brown people, demonize gay people, and elevate shariy’all law

No personal price to pay is too large for all of these things that have no impact on them whatsoever other than laughing at the people being villified

You're the one who said they failed seven straight audits. Why did they fail and why was nothing done about it? List names please.

What's up? They failed because of all or any of: waste, fraud, abuse, and incompetence. Nothing was done about it because your boy Elon was busy trying to grift.

Ok. But they failed seven audits much before Elon's time. Why was nothing done about it in years past? List names.

Oh. Trump, Biden, and Trump.

Now list the names you claimed are in the Pentagon preventing DOGE from doing an audit.

Public DoD audits didn’t start until 2018. It’s not that they’ve failed 7 in a row it’s more they’ve never passed one.

Blaming trump or Biden for that seems suspect
