Folk Singer Jesse Welles
I'm not the guy who keeps his pulse on the evolution of new pop culture. But this guy came across my field of view as a musician / populist social commentator who is being compared to folk legend Woody Guthrie. His work is absolutely political so the topic belongs in this section of the forum.
He has a pretty significant following and his upcoming concert tour is sold out at every venue many months in advance. He was on Joe Rogan a few months back if you want to go back and check out the episode.
