The video above doesn't work as I didn't know how to embed youtube videos. You can now watch the video here:

I haven't seen your video yet, but I agree that the potential of visualization is great, regardless of the category. For me, it's something like defragmentation of own my memory and thinking.

There is a resistance to tons of experiences for people. Visualization can reduce this, help it evolve, help it move into something different and more positive. It has legit power. It can be like a rehearsal. Also the same way you can visualize typing or playing piano as practice and it shows up in progress when you sit down to the actual task, it's a thing. The theater of the mind is a thing.

It took me a long time to understand this. I would dismiss such ideas and tag them as "woo-woo".

I am an avid golfer in the last few years my game has improved dramatically because of visualisation. When I watch videos on youtube where I am trying to learn something new, I imagine myself making the move over and over, and I am able to integrate swing changes very quickly with very little practice on the range. It's like magic!

Most poker players lose money because they either don't have the the technical skills to play better or the patience to play tighter.

Visualization won't work unless players want to actually change how they play and know how to make these changes.
