Post if you want in, ideally 8 people but the normal game - guess your stuff and ideally go fast bolding away a guess at a time(Snapguess + guess + etc). Spirit of the game is to just bold away at what you think, keep 0-1 max backup and go quick.

Maybe shells in a jar is a thing for places near the ocean. I wouldn't know, because I've never lived anywhere close. But I've literally never heard of shells in a jar. If I were cluing and I saw shell as the assassin, I wouldn't even consider the idea that jar would be a dangerous clue.
IBD spent a bunch of his life in Florida, so if it's a general thing, it's not impossible. Would be weird if it was a widespread item and I had never heard of it until this game.
Vacuum sealed jars are 100% a thing, so I'm still on that.
yeah I mean we collect sand and shells at the beach on some trips and put them in jars or even have table lamps where the entire base is glass filled with sand and shells from our trip
but vacuum is much closer to a jar clue than shell imo
I think the only thing that concerns me at this point is that vacuum might be their last powder word.
It's also possible there is no 3rd jar word and shell was just spursed. It seems like that unlimited was hoping to hit smuggler as well, so he may have been trying to finish on a 2+2. River and shell is a very easy combo to clue for.
I like vacuum the most as well right now, but could be convinced
also I've never seen ibd disagree with me on n-1 so would be surprised if he doesn't use it
but either way, tough to tell what our next word was since this is no list
He definitley said he's be using unlimited at endgame from now on. I could probably dig up the post if I had to. And actually, reading back through the previous turn, I know if I clued unlimited, I would 100% expect you to guess vacuum over shell.
But being that you're on this team, he might've decided to ditch that approach.

I remember saying that 50 years ago but don’t remember the circumstances under which I said I’d do it. But whatever, everyone here has a flawless memory, so I need to take that into account.
I never should’ve said that I’d do that. Proclaiming I was changing the years-long convention I’ve followed was dumb anyway. Oh well.
But this game is really going to start to suck if we have to remember what made up rules different people have when clueing.

The spymaster didn’t clue you enough to win so you need to get the top word in order to win
I just don’t get why people go unlimited when n-1 works; we gotta remember they do and if you do all the scenarios out in a table it just doesn’t do any good over n-1

Kinda odd you would say you will use a certain rule from now on and then complain when your team actually follows that rule imo.

I'm just gonna go back to using n-1 in all scenarios to avoid any confusion from now on. It's clearly worse, but oh well.
