I can’t see the reds bolding pistol after these two clues from DZ, so we should probably just bold it. I’m also not loving that, if it’s ours, he’s chosen to double clue it knowing that we were going to bold it eventually anyway unless red beat us to it.
And if both pistol and pan are ours for fire, then we’ve literally been clued four of our words, which is terrible.

If it were handle not handled I'd say pistol could be getting reclued, but it's not.
Having a handle = handled. A fork, a pan, and a pistol all have handles. Those are my three words for the clue. I get what you mean about handle being a better clue for pistol, but then it’d also be a better clue for pan and fork. I think it’s a stretch to say that this isn’t clueing pistol just because it’s -ed.
Last round we didn't guess pistol to let them guess it. They didn't.
This round we need to guess it.
But he's also telling us a 3 word.
We should be prepared to guess the 3 he's telling us, plus the obvious word we failed to guess last round.
Clean the slate so DZ can ideally make a 2-word putt.
We need 5 words, so guessing 3 would leave us with only 2 words left. Also, there is no way that if pistol is ours we are not getting it reclued here with handled lol.
