Regular Run of the Mill NO LIST Codenames!
Post if you want in, ideally 8 people but the normal game - guess your stuff and ideally go fast bolding away a guess at a time(Snapguess + guess + etc). Spirit of the game is to just bold away at what you think, keep 0-1 max backup and go quick.

Lap of the gods didn't sound familiar. Apparently it's a Queen song, so it must be a thing. Never getting it though.

Frustrating round!
Has nobody heard the phrase "in the lap of the gods" before? I thought this was just something ~everyone knew, but apparently not. This was also the final [slurp]ee word, and the reason I chose that drink specifically. It was definitely the hardest word to find, but I never expected you to be able to find 3 other words ahead of it lol. One thing I wanna say, and have said many times before, is that I will never clue a word on turn 1 that the other team is gonna guess anywa

I did miss tower on first run through. I think that and castle are pretty equal.
I guess I would replace crow with tower from my list. Torch is still my least favourite of the others.

Is pretty much where I'm at.
To me tower is like #2 or 3, they're pretty darn pointy! Castle I also like, just farther down a little since the thing that would make a castle pointy would be...the tower
I like all the words tho, only one I don't really get is strike?
Some towers are pointy and some aren't which is why I have it as low as it is. Everything above it is pretty much always pointy, except for castle. But I don't care what order they're in since it almost seems like a both or neither type of deal anyway.
Lightning strikes might be about as pointy as you can get!
Hmmm I suppose, didn't think of it as a lightning strike but could work

Thoughts on strike? Seems super strong to me...not sure why you guys don't like it.
It feels two step to me. Strike -> Lightning -> pointy.
Not really 2 steps since the strike is the pointy bit, but ok let's start with the other 5.
