So what's our pointy makeup I guess?

Our makeup word is button, but I don't think it's actually a pointy word.

Probably just have to guess if it's our only logical and expected makeup

I know you didn't love it but it does have merits and one end of a button often is pointy

I don't *call them buttons* but in the scope of this game I could see that being the idea...and maybe there are some buttons that are pointy?

So like the way I would do it - if i clued unlimited it would mean the last guessable word mentioned is ours. In this case we bolded 3 and the word before it was Flat.

But I'm sorta with you in not wanting to guess flat, I said that shoe thing but then remembered structure - 0 so yea

I don't wanna read too much into it but the 2 does make me think we've discussed the word before and it's there somewhere. I assume EB feels Blue would finish the game next turn and we need to win now, but we don't need to do some overly crazy miracle this turn

button as a "make-up" for pointy in a no-list game would be a devastating way to lose

Eb is still on n-1, and button is definitely what he'd be expecting us to guess. Whether or not button was intended for pointy (lol) doesn't even matter.

Chocolate and button are must guesses...third is tricky. I still lean sling, but I pretty much hate everything.

Even though flat was last word mentioned, it was never seriously considered as an actual guess. And if you clued pointy and expected us to guess flat, it might actually be the worst clue I've ever seen.

I play it as last word mentioned, and if I was n-1 that's what I'd expect. As unlimited that's absolutely what I mean, literal last guessable word mentioned anywhere(bolded fine, if not bolded before) so in this case it'd be flat.

But I'm sure we both know how confusing n-1 can be 🙂

And I'm with you EB probably expects us to guess Button more - question is - is there anything else?

And what's the brown word then if button is makeup cause that was almost my favorite for brown itself. I've went back on forth on Tunnel as it could be brown and should it be eliminated to structure but I've mostly come around to yes Tunnel is entirely out and we have Neil's candidates left

Also trying to think of what Blues' words may be(which I somehow always forget to do) so maybe we can eliminate another 1 or 2

Button - we're thinking guess this
Judge - I mean...heh heh, in some way could work but I don't think EB does this
Net - this would be dark - 2 I think, tho that could hit Tunnel
Rubber - not seeing anything here
Sling - slingshots and this kind of stuff you typically think of wood which is brown so prob my top candidate
Tunnel meh - assuming out for structure, if not...still not ours yea I'm off this

Flat was mentioned last as more likely to be assassin than ours, so that's really not how either n-1 or unlimited should be used.

If button is ours, it's not for brown because that is our n-1. I agree with you on tunnel. In a vacuum, I like it best, but I think structure rules it out. Normally I wouldn't worry about it too much because he had to 0 castle/tower, but he could've clued buildings and left tunnel as an option, so I'm off it.

Slingshots are often wooden, which is brown. They are also pointy.

Luftwaffe could be a couple of things, but giving them a word at this point doesn't even matter since they'll win next turn anyway.

I will never be convinced that we should guess flat tho.

What do you think Luftwaffe would be - and also what would we speculate their last word is that they couldn't get between that and saucer?

It's possible Plate was a Luftwaffe and they got reclued.

Anyway, I'm super off Judge. I'm pretty firmly off Net. Rubber...eeeeeh...a literal stretch, would have to think EB is giving them another turn which I don't think is happening(or rubber is pointy in some way but issue is we never discussed it)

I would guess tower as most likely last luftwaffe word. Could be tunnel or even button I suppose. Don't think it matters much, and I won't even begin to speculate what their final word could be.

(I'm not saying I want to guess Flat, just devil's advocate incoming and seeing how far you would be convinced - this would be my logic for it)

Flat - opposite of pointy, however a description. Just like when we clue square - x and expect someone to guess Triangle, this does fit the "what is it?" meaning for a clue. Both describe the shape something can be and on a 7 clue that logic can be there.

Boot was ours, Flat can be a shoe which can be(is) pointy. We got structured for 0 so it's not the apartment meaning either and removes some equity, but we also never said that so the shoe meaning is still there.

It's technically the last word "on our list"/that we were talking about/discussing/etc. If I clued unlimited it is what I'd want to be guessed, and EB may be going for that by n-1. It wasn't brown - 3 after all.

I understand what you're saying, but I do think there is a difference between guessing triangle for square and guessing flat for pointy. I would also say there is ~0 chance he is going for the shoe meaning in this instance.

I'm willing to lose if we're supposed to guess flat here. No ragrets.
