I cant remember if he was a southpaw or if he could switch, but that jumped out at me so I figured I’d mention it. Certainly a stretch and easy to miss (if it’s even a thing)

Agree on the first 4. I'd go boot over hood, only because he definitely wore boots, and I don't recall if he wore a hood to the ring, but that would be my backup

I think he was a conventional fighter, who could likely switch, but I'd say that's a very unlikely answer

Oh, and it’s technically n-1, but we agreed just before this game started that we weren’t going that route when we don’t have any clear backups.

Let's say it is those three words...that leaves one word left. Standard n-1 rules would say Boot is not ours, and that all 4 words are not for Baklava. So unlimited here could simply mean, 3 words and some other word. I don't think we can be confident that next in line is our word more than we can say it's some random word and he's just trying to stop us from guessing Boot.

I feel like it could also mean, the rest of our list that gets 6 for aracnophobia + remaining list, so let's look at both of those.

I'd argue that it can't be exactly those two words. If so, it would mean

1. eb clued 'baklava' instead of 'food' for the only remaining food words.
2. eb completely ignored n-1.

Apple, Ice Cream, Turkey, Boot would be 'food - 3' imo. Even 'food - unlimited' should make us think Apple, Ice Cream, Turkey, and then skipping boot. So why baklava instead of food? Ok, so just to reiterate, Boot was our first makeup word. If the final words were Turkey, Ice Cream, Apple, Boot, eb clues 'food - 3' and the game is over. I think we have to completely remove Apple, and guess one more Arachnophobia word. Log was our next make up word (then fighter -> revealed, and back...which I think was just a guess)

I'm not 100% where you are in your in-depth analysis, but I agree with your reasoning that Apple would trigger n-1, and he was just going for the most direct and most obvious words were. Which we immediately nabbed.
