For ballistics…

Atlantis - nah
Check - rifle inspection, check the chamber, etc
Cross - crosshairs
File - on our list, fairly low, something about computers I think you said?
Horseshoe - not seeing it
Log - didn’t get unlimited, so almost definitely not
Mexico - lots of gun violence in Mexico
Mug - mug shot? Meh
Pipe - didn’t get unlimited, so maybe not
Superhero - Superman is faster than a speeding bullet, many superheroes are invulnerable to bullets
Thief - could use a gun in a robbery
Wave - could this be something like the maths behind a bullet’s trajectory, etc?

I was thinking of logistics, don't know if ballistics have anything to do with computers etc

There is a mathematical formula for wavelength iirc but I have no clue what it's used for, could be something to do with trajectory sure

I've no idea really, might just need to YOLO the list

I’m pretty sure Nich is not a fan of changing up the list once it’s been established because it messes up the flow of communication.

Nich clued this knowing we’d hit a neutral after pilot and then avoided another unlimited clue next turn, which to me means one of pipe/log is bad for us.

If pipe was ours and log was neutral or vice versa, he’d have clued unlimited to clear the neutral and open a 2-clue for next turn.

We can’t win here, so I think we just go with night/Jupiter/pass, keep the list whole, and give Nich a chance to give us more info if we get another turn.

It occurs to me I've heard of Butch Cassidy but don't know the plot of the movie. Is it a western? Is it about an outlaw? If so, Mexico/Thief?

Well crap, I've never seen the movie either. All I know is that famous clip of the train exploding.

So, thief and I really don't know.

Maybe horseshoe for horses?

It's definitely a western, they probably had horses.

If he famously had a pipe or went to Mexico or chopped a log or something like that, I wouldn't know.

So I think horseshoe is our best bet. It's our best connection to the style of the movie.

It's gotta be thief. It's a western. Unless you're absolutely sure they were in Mexico, I don't want to say that.

Horseshoe/Mexico feels like it should be caballero. (Or gaucho if that's technically illegal)

Horseshoe/Thief is something I'm not sure I would have a good clue for.

I honestly have never seen the movie. I'm wildly speculating here.

So what's the safest wild guess? Thief? Cross? Mexico?

Might as well flip a coin. eb, bold as you like, either on your gut. If it's up to me I'm literally flipping a coin here.

If it's about a horse thief this would make sense.
