Who Wants To Be A (not real) Millionaire?
I found a website that has a ton of WWTBAM questions so why not try it out here, who's interested?
Will be 10 questions instead of 15 as the first 5 (0 to £1,000) are pretty easy anyway, 3 lifelines will be:
50/50 (i'll randomly remove 2 incorrect answers)
Phone A Friend (Another POGger, doesn't have to be involved in this thread i'll just PM them the question and explain)
Ask The Host (Same as Phone A Friend but will be asking myself instead)
£2,000
£4,000
£8,000
£16,000
£32,000 - If you reach here you're guaranteed minimum of £32,000
£64,000
£125,000
£250,000
£500,000
£1,000,000
Who wants to go first? First come first served! Obviously no research allowed
Wooo yay I have the lifeline...but which pogger is our African geography buff
idk who else I may be thinking of....it probably is EB
I kinda wanted to randomly phone in somebody who isn't aware of this thread at all but let's
Phone a friend! eyebooger please help!!
PM sent!
In matters of geography, eb and Booker are on speed dial
I could go with Booker too if he responds first or something, I ♥ me some EB but would be fun to PM a pogger I've never talked to on here for help too lol
Gotta be the Niger River. None of those other rivers are even remotely close to West Africa.
yea baby! the pogger I don't know probably didn't even know it anyway! (jk woolfbox tho maybe not :p)
def woulda never guessed this option myself, at bar trivia I would go with C Nile since you just have the chance to hit the most stuff and I have no idea where Timbuktu is, up there with Yukatan and BFE on places people use in phrases for middle of nowhere
I liked the movie Congo back in the day haha
B Niger
Timbuktu is in Mali in West Africa. Nile is towards the east. Congo is kind of in the middle. Zambezi is a little further south.
gf says Timbuktu is where they sent the dude(who I remember as Edgar) in 101 Dalmations
Niger is correct! You've matched eb with reaching £250,000 but now you're on your own can you cope with the pressure and overtake him?
Good timing as i'm just about to head to bed, will post the next question in a few
ty EB!!!
Question 9 for £500,000:
In mythology, Orpheus played which instrument?
A) Lyre
B) Flute
C) Organ
D) Pan Pipes
This is 500k and the river was 250k?
Having heard of Orpheus (and something about him) seems much more likely than knowledge of details of African geography. With respect to North Americans and Europeans, anyway.
LOL I don't have a clue on this one.
Went quickly from one of my best subjects (geography) to one of my worst (mythology).
Oooooof lol I really need to get this one
Man there will be A LOT of people disappointed in me if I don't get this oh boy
This shoulda been a freebie for me for a million reasons
But ok, let's get it
Organ is absolutely ridiculous, flute seems almost equally ridiculously out
Gaaaaah I almosted just bolded lyre is that Cupid
Yaaaaaarg
I gotta do
A Lyre
Correct! Can we have our first millionaire?
£1,000,000 question:
Which of these is most likely to be used to stuff cushions?
A) Kaolin
B) Kabuki
C) Kapok
D) Kama
Oooooof it is seeming unlikely
Bare in mind that if you answer incorrectly you'll lose £468,000
