A few clarifications:
- For the genre categories, IMDB will be the decider if a show is a valid pick. Use common sense, though
- For "Gone Too Soon", we're looking for shows that were not intended to be a limited series, and that have been cancelled after a maximum of 2 seasons.
- A lot of shows are eligible in multiple categories. Declare the category you are picking in with the pick. You cannot change later
- I will not be organizing a vote to pick a winner, but I welcome someone else doing so if you're so motivated
- Once a show has been picked, it's off the board, as are any reboots. Spinoffs are still good.

I really despise reality television. 90% of it is just scripted nonsense and manufactured drama. But I did like MythBusters, and since it apparently qualifies, I'll take that.
terminator: the Sara Connor chronicles for gone too soon
really great show, and not very well known. highly recommend if you like the genre. it sucked it got cancelled though, right at a cliff hanger too

I'm going to pick Is it Cake? for reality tv.
I don't really watch this genre, but have watched this with my wife and we enjoyed making fun of it.
The trailer seemed ridiculous and we watched a show and then just carried from time to time when we wanted some mindless tv.
Things to make fun of:
-How long they have to bake (10+ hours)
-How unfamous the celebrity judges are (it's common to only recognise 1 per season - Rebecca Black was a judge).
-How much fondant and modelling chocolate covers the cake (loads)
-The season they trashed all the decoys to make their cake look more realistic (I'm pretty sure they made a new rule because of this spoiler effect).
-How over enthusiastic and emotional the contestants get (they cry whoop and cheer all the time).
I'm not going to recommend it unless you want to laugh at it.
Drama is a great category, because it covers so much great TV. I could leave this to the end and get something I'm super happy with, but I think I'll go now and pick one of my favourite shows. This was #2 on my SFF list, but it also qualifies as drama, so I'll take it here, too. Like LOST, this has a bizarre ending, but everything leading up to that is amazing. I consider 33 minutes to be one of the all time great episodes of Television. I still think of the scene with All Along the Watchtower (don't google it if you don't want spoilers) for how well done it was.
Battlestar Galactica, the reboot in the 2000's, obviously
BSG was a great show! just rewatched it recently. it holds up.
You know what’s weird? It’s practically a shot-for-shot remake of the original.

I'm going to go a bit outside the norm, and take my favorite show that hasn't yet been drafted, in wild card. The Last of Us
Only one season so far, but imo it's the best thing on TV since GoT, and if they nail the rest of it like they did S1, it will be in the conversation all time best show
I'm going to pick Trailer Park Boys for Sitcom
It may be crude but it makes me laugh.
First 6 seasons are especially strong. Love all the running jokes like Julian with his glass of drink and ice. Ricky being a genius in certain select situation. Ending each season in prison. All the Rickyisms.
