Come on in! Since Dustin is taking his ball and going home, it's time to start a new politics thread.
So trump sued the IRS for $10b and claims he won and "will give the money to charity". If you believe that money will go to good causes and not straight in his pocket I've got a timeshare on the moon to sell you. The grifting is insane. Y'all elected the biggest con man in history to run your country.
John Brown is a great one for a school project because he just straight up murdered white folks but he led a slave rebellion so is slavery wrong or not. And he did it straight out of religious principles so do you have religious principles or not.
My only criticism is his poor tactics and logistics.

Xanax is like too good. I don't touch any benzos now, the addiction potential is crazy. I was regularly taking only 1-2 bars a day and when I quit I got the brain zaps for a week straight. The brain zaps are not fun. But I know how to ride out a bad trip.
Pillaging the countryside would be an excellent alternative.
kicking an addiction to Xanax is very dangerous. it's not like quitting other drugs.
and yeah, it's too good. I took it like 10 of 11 days, and got addicted that quick. I stopped on the 12th day cuz I didn't want to be addicted, but it was too late. and my brain went completely nuts. worst torture I ever felt. just indescribable agony. but it only lasted about a day and a half. I think. I was in a haze.
I'm terrified of ever being addicted to that **** again.

Yeah the zaps themselves are alright it's the "wtf is happening to my brain" part that sucks.
for me it was like my already crippling anxiety just pumped up maybe 10x or so. it was surreal
I have a baseline of something that feels like anxiety and can definitely become anxiety but may not fundamentally be raw anxiety. It might just be some kind of habitual autistic hyper-planning. My mind wants to account for all the known possibilities.
I blame capitalism.

I tried living without a phone, and it was very difficult. the apartment building I was living in switched to doing everything on a phone.
some business do everything just on apps

every single decision he made was absolutely horrendous - he could have accomplished so much but blew it due to incompetence
take away his 20 children and he has basically zero followers and gravitas as well
