newer places don't even have ****ing sidewalks! if you want/have to walk someplace, you have to walk in the ****ing street where the ****ing cars drive. it's depressing AF to have to try to walk on a route like that. not to mention dangerous.
The neighborhood I live in was mapped out in the fifties and there aren't sidewalks. Most of the time I put the dogs in the Tucson and drive to the park.
Public transportation is a terrible drag on time. My sone was too cheap to buy a car but got tired of it just taking forever to get anywhere. Hours wasted on stuff that takes 15 minutes in a car. And again, it;s not carrying bulk stuff. It's hard/impossible just carrying a weeks worth of groceries.
Also depending where you live, you end up walking to and from bus stops in wet or freezing weather. sucks.

I used to ride the bus all over San Antonio, it was glorious before covid. I'd get a month pass and ride all around. Met lots of strange people, some nice ones. Bus life was ruined by covid and open borders, go figure.

so the bottom 50% of taxpayers are making 20k a year, and working around 40 hours a week, and taking home 19k a year
top 1% are making around 100k a week, working maybe 10 hours a week, and taking home around 3.5 million year(from their "income")
plus the top 1% make most of their money in other ways besides "income"

the Uber wealthy paying tax get the best ROI on their tax over any other investment
