i think it's safe to assume there is a washington hospital somewhere. maybe even in washington
A Hospital Ship is a military ship that creates a safe hospital for wounded offshore when it can't or hasn't been built yet onshore.
The thing is, the most famous hospital in Washington is actually the military one up in Bethesda. There might be a George Washington University teaching hospital, but I don't know offhand.
