Yeah, but what would we guess? Basically everything we've mentioned is potentially theirs and seems like we're much more likely to hit a blue than a red.

But look at it this way, of every word on the list, one is historically known to have been pregnant: Cleopatra.

I can see any of Bath, Boil, Big Bang, Cleopatra.

Just think upside of hitting one of our rounds is so great, like if we hit one of theirs who cares, one of ours we're down to 2 words assuming we get this pregnant thing right

My first thought was Cleopatra too, and maybe we're overthinking the girl thing so I'm fine with that over big bang, should be safe at worst

This is like the Thanksgiving clue from last round. Cleo fits, but there are so many objectively better clues for this than pregnant. Girl/mother/Tutankhaman...and it's not like they're hard to think of either. Pregnant is too weird and specific for that to be correct imo.

That round, I pointed out Thanksgiving had a very specific meaning that was clearly cluing AROUND server. Things happen a certain way in thanksgiving, and it specifically does not involve going to a place where servers bring you a meal.

What very specific meaning does pregnant have, or what very specific condition surrounds pregnancy, that it's cluing us AWAY from, then?

What is Pregnant dodging, and thus, what are we being led to by that implication?

What word do we look at and say "Gosh, it can't possibly be that from pregnant, because...."

'Birth' would lead to a LOT of words. Childbirth in a bath. Boiling water. Big Bang.

"Mother" would go to kid and Cleopatra.

I'm missing something because now I have no idea what to pick.

One thing to consider is, what happens if you read the two words together.

Exactly. If you think of pregnant, then you think of mother, and there's no way you wouldn't choose that instead. Girl is also super obvious and clearly better. Tut maybe slightly less obvious, but still very gettable.

Big bang is a very hard word to clue for when you don't have other space-related stuff to connect it to, so it seems reasonable enough to me. Though I could also see how it would be completely overlooked as well...it's just that everything else makes very little sense to me.

Big Bang + Kid = Sheldon

The show is popular enough you just clue Sheldon.

Oh yeah, there's a show about Sheldon as a kid I guess. I'm not familiar enough with BBT to know if that could lead to other stuff on the board tho.
