not going concert or cover as he woulda chosen a different band

he either chose Queen for Opera or for a royal word like State

but state was next on our list so he coulda just done a hard 1-clue to force us to guess state AND he woulda done 5 for geographies if america/australia/amazon/beijing/state are all ours

so as of right now I'm on Opera but not 100% yet

We've had six clued. So we have three words pending, which I'm penciling in as:

As far as I'm concerned geographies was a 20% chance to get right anyway. 1 out of 5 for the word that wasn't in.

If they're not right I don't think we ever win this round regardless.

I'm a huge fan of the band, so my mind ALWAYS goes there.

Band - Lock in my view
Chick - A queen is definitionally a chick, in a manner of speaking
Concert - It feels like you'd have a better word for band/concert, yes, one that doesn't bring in anything extraneous. Coachella? Have to avoid a concert hosted on any fairgrounds, though.
Cover - Yes, like Concert, specifically naming someone known for covers, like Yankovic, might be better.
Fair - I don't see a connection with Queen or queens here.
Nail - You'd give the name of someone from a SPECIFIC band, for this (not that I could name any of them 😀
Nurse - It is an occupation associated with women, like queens
Opera - Night at the Opera. I imagine a number of queens patronize opera houses, too.
Pole - No idea
Pyramid - Yeah I instantly think of Cleopatra here. Could clue Bangles for this. I think I'd go Pyramid over Chick there. Lots of bands have women, that one walked like an Egyptian.
State - Head of State, I feel like Anthem might be the better call for this, though.
Theatre- Again Queens DO patronize the arts

I'm 80% on Band/Opera

20% on Band/Pyramid

Yeah, band/pyramid is Bangles

You have to go pyramid first because only reason is for Egyptian

Then it’s band or chick; but Chick+pyramid is Cleopatra so its band

Either way, it’s not Queen, of which only one well known Queen in history is connected to pyramids
