Maybe he uses a net to catch fish while floating along in Life of Pi? I don’t remember that, but maybe. I guess luck is a component, being a survivor of a shipwreck. Not sure what the 4th would be. I don’t remember a bicycle, and I probably would’ve noticed skyscrapers in the middle of the ocean. Pretty sure it wasn’t set in or near Alaska.

These clues and my lifetime of movie watching are two distinct circles in the venn diagram, It's amazing. Not even one, by accident.

Well, I’m fine with luck/skyscraper/net if you are. I can’t see anything else that really fits Serendipity, and I’m not going to deny Nich his n-1 clue. Unless you and I are missing something, net is the only unresolved word we mentioned.

Yeah, I'm going to assume that Tank was for Finding Dory, and we just read too much into the difference between it & Nemo, or he didn't make the connection between tank & aquarium. That's the only alternate word for SVP, imo.

An unlimited clue here implies that we guess the 1 obvious answer (Iceland) then run down the list. There's no way he expects us to know the content of that movie/book/music/Icelandic performance art, beyond that it's about Iceland in some way

Running down our list would include a bunch of logic fails.

I think we do need to look back at the previous clues.

It's unlimited not because our list is great but because we need to win this turn and and Iceland - 1 won't let us win.

You're right. I'm just about to head into the city for a job interview, and won't be back until late, so I can't really think about this until tomorrow.

I think Iceland, Tank, Spell is our best shot at winning.

Fly - I don't think Fly links with anything. If it was our word along with Tank then I think a different was movie and a 2 clue would be picked.

Net - Fishes are caught in nets. Don't think it's a finding Dory word. Also we don't need a finding dory word. We already have too many possible. Could it be an American tail word?

Pad - I can't see how this fits with anything. We haven't mentioned it at all and it's not been highlighted in a clue.

Spell - I can't say I'm in love with it but it's been on our backup list and we haven't been clued away from it.

Tear - whether ripped or crying i don't see it and we've not mentioned it.

Walrus - if this is the final Dory word then tank is a coincidental connection. Then what are the words for Prince and the Pauper and American Tail? Iceland? Tank? Walrus? I don't see it. I think Walrus is out personally.

Zombie - not been mentioned and can't see it.
