Easy to imagine a tattoo.

I like

Church
Ring
Pass
Day
Needle

Ed Helms gets a face tattoo in part 2, but pretty sure Zach G get his nipples or his navel pierced in the first one.

I could see day. I’d put needle above it. And I wouldn’t stop at bolding two. I actually feel okay about those four and would be find passing after them.

I’ll take another look for anything else that sticks out. We need some sort of backup list.

Oh! I think their first encounter with Ken Jeong he comes out of the trunk of their car naked.

tracks. I'm okay with putting any of those five above or below the pass line, in any order you want.

Or at least I remember someone being in the trunk. Pretty sure it’s when Ken Jeong’s character is introduced.

They’re in Vegas, so I’m sure the Luxor is shown at some point, even if they don’t go in there. There’s a nod to Rainman at a blackjack table, but I think it’s at Caesars maybe. I might put pyramid ahead of day.

And I can’t remember if there’s anything stolen, but there’s criminal activity involved (with Ken J’s character). So maybe fence on the list.

Church
Ring
Needle
Pyramid
Trunk
Pass

Day
Fence

imo

The reason I liked Day was it sounded like this was everything that happened in one day, sort of thing.

but that sounds fine.

Church
Ring
Needle
Pyramid
Trunk
Pass

Day
Fence

Ring

Dang no wedding ring? He really was a bum!

Hacksaw Ridge - 3

Dang no wedding ring? He really was a bum!

Neutral is a great result in this variant haha

This format

Hacksaw Ridge is a movie about an American pacifist who joined the army and refused to use a gun. He refused to quit even though there was some pretty heavy pressure to do so.

He was a medic during the Vietnam War and saved loads of people's lives at hacksaw ridge. He won a medal of honour or something.

His name was Des Doss.

Might not have been Vietnam, might have been WWII but I'm pretty confident on the rest of the story

Vet for sure.

I know that the British medals are called the ____ cross, but I don't know if they US ones are.

Pretty sure there's hacksaw ridge was a cliff by the sea. They had to climb from boats to get to the fighting.

Perhaps Mount

Hacksaw Ridge was in the Pacific during WW2, he was fighting the Japanese. I think the movie was on Iwo Jima, but I'm not entirely sure. A big piece of the movie was him carrying wounded to the edge of a cliff so they could be evacuated down, because everyone else retreated. Fantastic movie, highly recommend it if you like war movies

Current thoughts

Cross - It was a religious objection.
Day - The bulk of the film is one day
Mount - It's at the top of a big hill
Vet - He's a real veteran.
Needle - He's a medic
Theater - Theater of war

The US equivalent of the Victoria cross is the Medal of Honor, and I'm fairly confident he won one

Cross may also be a Titanic clue, and we add it as our 4th choice

Vet
Cross
Mount

Are probably my top 3 in order.

We can have day, needle, theatre (whatever) as backups. I have no reference, but we should leave a clear backup to make things more black and white in future rounds.

Millionaire as makeup word for Titanic and then I guess Apple and Trunk as backups for that.

Argo - unlimited

Never seen it, but I think it’s about spies entering a country under the guise of being filmmakers.

That makes Hollywood make sense. And maybe embassy?
