I'd say this is some radio post game call in show about the hockey team, but Buffalo is already off the board, so I'm really confused. I guess tooth is bad and we just go Cat/Slug?

I've no idea what that is but I'm guessing that tooth and cat are off the list.

I've no clue which one though.

The problem is that if it's about the hockey team, "Sabre" doesn't refer to the cat, but the sword.

So it's very possible that tooth and/or cat are still fine.

It's a 0 clue which means most likely we've got to avoid a word/some words son put list.

Our list is Tooth, Slug, Cat.

If those were good words then I can't imagine this clue would have been a good idea. Even if it's not about animals there's a decent chance we come to the conclusion I have.

If only tooth was to be avoided I'm sure some dentistry documentary would get that point across less cryptically.

0 clues otherwise are to let us know which of the group of similar words is not ours. Like if Berlin, China, Singapore and Caracas are ob board and the clue is Americas - 0 then we avoid Caracas and go for the other 3.

I do not see anything that fits the bill

My main problem with that theory is that this clue makes very little sense if you're not trying to eliminate Buffalo. I think the likelihood that Zurvan ****ed up by not realizing that Buffalo was off the board is very high.

That said, I don't really know how to handle that.

That's the part I'm not sure about.

This is such a weird spot that I don't think I've been in before. I've had games where the cluegiver messed up and I was unaware of it. But actually being 80+% sure this is a mistake is new for me.

Let's pretend for a second that tooth is the assassin and we have it as backup number 1.

What a happens then? Another 0 clue to get us away from it?

I'm wary going for cat but I'm more wary having tooth as a backup.

I'd rather either go for a new backup or leave things with a blank slate.

This is such an awful clue if tooth is the assassin that I don't really want to consider that as an option.

I'm fine if you want to leave it off for now though.

Still want to try cat, but I'm good with just about anything that has slug first.
