But what does King have to do with Softball?

But, again, probably better clues for King + Glove. Scepter has some overlap with Queen, or whatever the word for an armor glove is. I can't remember it, but I'd recognize it, and it could be top of mind given the cuirass clue last round.

Honestly, I might be on Glove & Grace just because I can't think of a better clue for it than softball. That's a terrible reason, so I could be convinced to go with something else

It was indeed the final beer word, but it actually wasn't for horseshoe. What I expected was unicorn and sock, then when sock was neutral you'd go to glove. Horseshoes as a game just never crossed my mind.
