Damn nearly went STARK 2nd guess but changed my mind last second

I was actually in a spot deciding between STALK and STARK. Chose R because STARK and START whereas L was STALK and STALL and I thought we had STALL before.
From the beginning, with STA__ __ I think a person would want an I, N, R, or K before an L in spots 4 and 5, not factoring what they might remember about past words being gone.
